DeSean Jackson is doing his diva WR / headcase thing. Great.
Marshawn Lynch is running hard and breaking tackles. Our defense is playing sloppy and missing tackles. Ugh.
Does Kafka play? Any other changes coming? Reid has got to be livid.

I know Juan wanted to simplify this defense, but it seems like there is ZERO creativity 90% of the time. If the Eagles even got creative 25% of the time it would throw offenses off more. Our secondary looks lost when the slot receiver goes in motion.
Juan is too simple to run a simple defense. Seriously I would question handing him the keys to a high school defense.
I wouldn’t hand him the keys to a defense in Madden with “ask Madden” calling all the plays.
I want to see Kafka, maybe Hunt. Hell, I wouldn’t mind seeing if Mathews learned anything in his dinner conversations.
If Patriots get the ball at own 40 yard line, 16 secs till end of half, they are throwing quick outs. CB:s were giving up 10 yard cushion and we only needed 20 yards to at least try a field goal. Unacceptable!
Why don’t we run the ghost reverse anymore? Feel like we use to run this 2-3-4 times a game.

I don’t understand why the announcers/analysts keep saying stuff the Eagles’ season is hanging in the balance, or is “on the verge” of falling apart. Hasn’t that been the case for weeks now (months even)??
They have to give people a reason to watch the rest of the game. Somehow I think a “This game is over and the season is done for the Eagles, may as well watch that Office you DVRed” wouldn’t go over well with the producers.

Don’t be so sure. First Andy would have to burn a timeout, then they would take a penalty, and Riley Cooper or Vince Young might just hand you over to a stranger. You might never get in the ground. Also, Desean would most definitely be late and Steve Smith would be hitting on your wife.

This has been the most unlikeable Eagles Team since 98. Only bright spot is Shady and the offensive line. A solid run game is a start though. We need a good draft, a couple of winning vets, plus a complete defensive coaching change. Marty needs to go. Any thoughts on bringing back Chilly?
This feels so much worse than the constant struggle of the 2005 season or the complacency of the 2007 season. There’s too much talent on this team to have just performed like that. I’m stunned. It seems like everyone, from coaches, to players, to ownership… has given up. The only ones who haven’t are the fans(like the many of us here) who continually show up every game day and pour our hearts and souls into it.

He is not responsible throwing awful pics. We can talk that maybe Vince should not be on the field but he cannot make decisions on the field on Vince`s behalf.

He brought Vince in, he refused to feed the ball to Shady. He promoted Juan, and went to wide 9 with scrub linebackers. Andy is ultimately responsible for everything as head coach and president of football operations. It’s his show and the Eagles are 4-8.
I agree on that. I was just talking about the effort that some of our players gave. Of course everything eventually is traceable to Andy.
I agree, a coach can only do so much. A coach can’t tackle, catch balls, or make throws…he has some responsibility in that, but not that much
Actually the missed tackles can be directly attributed to the coach.
I just want someone fired. I don’t care if it’s the assitant to the traveling secretary, but someone needs to be punished. They aren’t played hard, they aren’t giving a good effort on the field. The play calls are often shitty. And the roster they put togehter is full of garbage. People should be fired.
