Inactives
Posted: October 14th, 2012 | Author: Tommy Lawlor | Filed under: Philadelphia Eagles | 9 Comments »Jamar Chaney, who I had a small Twitter skirmish with this week, is inactive. So is Damaris Johnson. These are the two headliners.
Casey Matthews is the top backup LB. He did well last week in his 3 plays (2 tackles).
As for PR…the obvious guess is DeSean Jackson. Brandon Boykin and Mardy Gilyard could also be used there.
Riley Cooper gets his first action of the year. Dion Lewis is out, meaning he didn’t impress the coaches last week. Not good for him. New LB Jason Williams will play. He needs to produce on STs to impress us.
QB Trent Edwards
WR Damaris Johnson
RB Dion Lewis
OL Nate Menkin
OL Steve Vallos
DE Vinny Curry
LB Jamar Chaney

I really do think the Eagles will be aggressive today. Hope that delivers some big plays.
Did Chaney block you? I saw that and wondered how their scoring system works. And clearly, if he did play THAT well, you would think he’d be active today.
No, things were respectful. I didn’t go after him personally. He responded to a joke tweet of mine. Chaney was too sloppy last week and that cost him today. I don’t blame the guy for sticking up for himself.
Apparently an 86% rating doesn’t mean much. I wonder if Castillo reads Igglesblitz?
Eagles in a blowout, gotta be this time, right Tommy!?
I’m sure hoping.
Les Bowen says DJax and Gilyard are practicing as PRs right now.
Les now says Boykin too.
Do the inactives and turnover for the last few roster spots remind anyone of the earlier Reid years? Didn’t he used to do more of this kind of stuff years ago? I wonder if being on notice caused Reid to do a little self-reflection.
Boykin inactive?!?
