Vinny Curry Active

Damion Square sits. Vinny Curry plays. This is what we’ve wanted. Now Curry has to deliver. He needs to be active and disruptive. I’m not calling for 10 sacks, but that would certainly be a way to get the attention of Bill Davis.

The inactives:

QB Matt Barkley

OT Dennis Kelly

OT Matt Tobin

TE Emil Igwenagu

DL Damion Square

CB Jordan Poyer

CB Roc Carmichael

Poyer sits for the first time. CB Shaun Prater takes his place. Prater can play outside or in the slot. No idea if he’s good on STs. Most DBs from Iowa are tough and good tacklers so he should fit in.

    tommy,
I’ve heard talk all week about how reid knows these players. I’ve heard nothing about how much these players know reid. how much more input into the game plan do you think some players might be able to add this week? do you think that could give us somewhat of an advantage over reid as opposed to the opposite?

off-topic alert. Seeing Andy in pregame and last night on Sound FX… reminds me how much I liked the guy. I hope he doesn’t get booed too badly.

25 plays, 1 sack is the over under line IMO. I’ll take over because Im a terrible homer.

I’m taking the over as well. 25 plays, 25 sacks.

They had no pass rush last game, it makes perfect sense.

Kelce vs Poe is kind of a scary matchup

Trying to think of how he has matched up against big NTs, and can’t specifically remember. Can’t really ever remember a bad game though.

Derrick Johnson spying Vick scares me.

Yeah…Kelce does struggle against the bigger NTs. Hopefully he and Herremans/Mathis are able to control him on double teams and Kelce isn’t singled up against him too much.

I still can’t believe Poe is not a Raven. It just makes so much sense.

appropriate applause for reid. Good job guys, the rest of the country (and Florida papers in particular) can suck it.

Expected – Andys first play is a pass
Unexpected – The Eagles got some pressure on the opposing QB
Expected – It was from Connor Barwin, the only OLB who is actually a OLB.
