Are you ready for some Eagles football?

The inactives are out:

QB Mike Vick
OL Dennis Kelly
WR Damaris Johnson

CB Bradley Fletcher
LB Jake Knott
LB Mychal Kendricks
S Earl Wolff

The big news…Matt Tobin is active. Oh wait…I mean Jason Peters is active. If Peters struggles, the team can turn to Allen Barbre.

Brad Smith is active. Should be interesting to see what kind of impact he has.

Roc Carmichael gets another start at CB. Najee Goode will be at ILB.

Would you trade Nick Foles for Colin Kaepernick? Straight up deal.

My guess is that most fans would scream “YES!!!”

The Niners this year have games where they scored 3, 7 and 9 points. Kaepernick is playing highly erratic football this season. He hasn’t had a full set of weapons and that certainly has affected him, but he’s also young. Young QBs are going to be up and down.

Just keep  this in mind as we watch Foles over the last 6 weeks.

    just egged? c’mon people, step up your game. I want the opposition sneaking in to the Linc in the dead of night, sleeping in the locker room to avoid the rabid fans. Especially if they are going to show pictures like it is a big deal. Earn your infamy!

    The Kaepernick decline show how much he misses Crabtree and why I’m starting to think a premium receiver might be even more important than originally thought.

    I’d still take Kaepernick.

    FOX’s pregame show is the real kiss of death. If they all pick us, it’ll be an ugly day.

    (example: I believe they all picked Oakland when Foles threw 7 TDs).

    Damn, hate it that Fletcher and Kendricks are out.

    Goode had a good game, but you need a very athletic spy for RGIII. Kendricks would have been good at that. Hopefully Goode can do this as well.
    And then there is Reed, the TE. Also a player Kendricks would have been a help against.

    Carmichael received solid gradings for his performance last week. I wasn’t sold on him, I hope he has a solid game. On the other hand: the Skins only have Garcon as a real weapon, who’s more of a slot receiver, so that will be Boykins responsibility.

    Their receiving core is made up of receivers who are 2s/3s, and doesn’t have the single star number 1 wideout that you have to scheme against. Hopefully this allows Davis to play a more aggressive and balanced scheme.

    Yeah, he had many opportunities. Chip will always give a player enough leash to prove himself or hang himself. Unfortunately, Damaris is swinging in the wind.
