The Eagles miss a FG.
The Packers miss 2 FGs.
They throw a RZ pick.
QB Seneca Wallace gets hurt on the first drive and newly signed Scott Tolzien then takes over.
This is just one of those weird, wild games. The Packers are a good team. They’re at home. That bunch isn’t going to lay down just because the 3rd string QB is playing.
The Eagles need to play better in the 2nd half. Too much sloppiness in the 1st half.

Even if you don’t think it was a penalty, it was close. Making it not a very bad call. As opposed to those missed facemasks and PI, which were very bad.
The offense is sloppy as hell, but it doesn’t help that the defense is letting the Pack hang onto the ball all day long. The D needs to get off. the. field.

Anderson was actually making a smart play. When the other team touches the ball on a punt, no matter why happens on the rest of the play, the absolute worst outcome is that it gets spotted where it was first touched by the punt team.

I think it’s the “could-have-been-intercepted” throws that bothered me the most

I know it’s nice to see FOles and our offense play perfect games but that’s just not going to happen every week in the NFL . See Tom Brady…It’s nice to see 7td passes but it’s just as important to see a young QB to battle thru a tough game and find a way to lead us to a win…As soon as GB scored a TD, FOles took us down the field and answered with a TD of his own…that’s an encouraging sign for a young developing QB..

I don’t know about you, but his game left me exhausted. I’m proud of our backups and all phases – O, D, ST.
I like that our entire roster had a hand in battling thru a tough ugly game
that one almost turnover on ST was pretty scary, though!
Also, Eli Manning threw for 140yds and 1 TD and 1 INT vs the Raiders, at home. 7 TDs is so easy anyone can do it, though.
Ah, but Eli led the G-men to a W, so obviously he’s still HOF-quality.

that was crazy. though that last defender on the ravens should not have tipped it up… what the heck was he thinking!
I think he was honestly trying to knock it down but it came at him too quickly…
Probably the best move would’ve been to just let it fly past him, but I bet 100% of athletes would try to touch it.
oh, definitely. its your first instinct to try to get a hand on the ball – either catch it or bat it down.
but i think when you are in this position, you should be telling yourself before the play starts that you shouldn’t be trying to catch the ball!

I know they do not wash each other out, but missing Wolff and Fletcher really hurt us. We had to use safeties on WRs and having Anderson, Chung and Carmichael play a lot is not nice against such good WRs

I want to see Foles and McCoy forced to carry the Eagles against a Top-Notch QB.

you make a good point. winning the game (this year) isn’t as important as us finding out more about Foles to find out if he is our guy for the future.
this game tells us (or me, at least) that Foles can play a “normal” football game and it is good enough to win.
like you said, it would have been great to see him go back and forth with a true all star QB in Rodgers.

35 called runs, including 3 kneel-downs at the end.
12 runs came on the final drive (excluding kneel-downs).
Basically, Kelly called a 53-47 pass-to-run game — before the last drive
