Obviously the Eagles will go after a PK aggressively. I don’t scout PKs so I’m not sure who the key targets are.

  • u want colt lyeria? as a player for sure!! but that kid has character issues. just cant see chip giving him a chance after all the stuff he did, the biggest being quiting on the ducks.

esp considering all the guys he drafted that graduated because its good to see them set and accomplish goals

    • TommyLawlor

Lyerla is a major talent who functioned well under Kelly in the past. If he was a totally unknown problem child, I wouldn’t have interest.

      • he def is talented, and id be excited to have him, just dont think chip is trying to bring guys like him in the locker room. havent signed/drafted any character problems since chip has been here.

  • They already signed TE Trey Burton from florida

  • and they signed the vandy kicker

  • Noah_Becker

Brett Smith to Tampa, per twitter.

    • ACViking

  • Michael

Michael Campanaro was picked by the ravens in the 7th

  • BreakinAnklez

Camp, Jones and Hazel were all drafted

    • ACViking

      And CB Shaq Richardson

    • TommyLawlor

Jimmy Bama called me right when the draft ended and that put me in a rush to edit the lists.

Everything bad is always Bama’s fault!!!

  • ACViking

Vandy kicker Carey Spear apparently’s been signed.

Short and stout. Lots of touchbacks. Lousy FG%

    • mksp

      15 / 19 in 2013
      11/12 in 2012
      4/7 in 2011

Seems okay, depends how long the ones were he missed.

    • Anders

So opposite of Henery coming out

  • RC5000

like Fluellen and Burton signings off the bat.

  • OregonDucker

Carey Spear: “Carey Spear made Vanderbilt kickoffs a must-watch exchange. While the NCAA’s new kickoff rules made touchbacks more common in 2013, Spear was an absolute animal as a junior, launching himself like a missile at opposing ballcarriers. No one at Dudley Field would have batted an eye if James Franklin had found a way to sneak him in for a few plays at safety against Austin Peay last fall.” http://www.anchorofgold.com/2014/5/2/5669248/2014-nfl-draft-capsules-carey-spear-god-of-destruction-kicker-vanderbilt-football/in/5417501

  • ACViking

Broncos signed Del Blue Hen Zach Kerr

    • SuPaFrO

Wow try saying that 5x that

  • ACViking

    Texans . . .

    MLB Max Bullough

WR — ulta speedster — Nate Slaughter from WTxA&M

  • Mitchell

So many good players left, Loston, Ladler, Jeffcoat, Coleman. GET THEM ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ACViking

Vikings sign (labor inciter) Kain Colter

    • TommyLawlor

He could have been a really good slot guy for the Eagles.

  • ACViking

    Giants sign DT/DE Kelcy Quarles

  • ACViking

Raiders sign Geo. Atkinson III . . . was there ever a doubt

  • ACViking

    Eagles add:

John Fulton, CB, Alabama (GEagle . . . what the heck?)

    Henry Josey, RB, Missouri

    • GEAGLE

Wtf!!!! Doesnt really matter, he has no shot to make the team, he was a backup at Bama

  • ACViking

Steelers sign Stanford DE Josh Mauro

  • ACViking

QB Keith Price from Wash State . . .

stays at home by joining Seattle

  • RC5000

Love Henry Josey…bad knee injury …but he’s great and had a good year coming back from injury …unofficial ?
    Henry Josey ‏@I_AM_HJOSEY20 13m

Excited and humble to take the next step in my life! Philly you have a new weapon #Eagles

  • ACViking
    • ACViking

      He’s a Sproles-type.

    • RC5000

Love Josey, he is a terrific player. Bad injury but he came back from it and if he doesn’t work out because of injury oh well..

  • ACViking

Titans sign VaTech DE James Gayle

  • ACViking
  • dislikedisqus

James Wilder JUNIOR? Thanks for making me feel OLD!

  • ACViking

Jags sign Fresno State TE Marcel Jenson

  • anon

Wow were we this aggressive with udfas last year?

  • ACViking

ILB Shayne Skov — with the bionic knee — signs w/ Oakland

  • oreofestar

Is BRANDON Coleman, L’DamiaN Washinton or Hoffman get signed also where do I find out non Eagles signing s

  • SteveH

Sigh. Now we have to wait 4 months to see any of these kids in game action. The draft is like getting to see all your christmas presents wrapped and sitting under the tree but not being allowed to open them for half a year.

  • TommyLawlor
  • Anders

According to twitter, we just signed a 6-10 295 DE from FAMU named Frank Mays

    This guy

  • Jernst

I’m a fan of what we did this week except for trading Bryce. We got good compensation for sure, but who is our backup RB now? After watching McCoy writhe around on the ground like he had a season ending injury a few times last year, I’m well acquainted with the crippling feeling that accompanies feeling like we lost him for the year. If he goes down this offense becomes a shadow of what it is with him. And, with as much as we run the ball, for longevity sake I’d prefer having someone there to spell him occasionally.

    • Anders

Kelly really talked Tucker up and we just signed 2 more in UDFA and we still have Polk

      • Jernst

Yea I respect the replies guys, but Polk had about 24 non inspiring rushes and one untouched 50 yard run in the snow. And, Tucker and some UDFAs don’t necessarily inspire confidence. And, Sproles, while great in the passing game and with screens barely functions as a RB these days. I’d be surprised if we sit tight at that position. Especially for a team built on the run. The drop off from Shady to Polk is substantial and we are now set up to have Shady get 350 carries again while crossing our fingers that he gets up every one of those, because if he goes down were toast. Do not like that situation as it stands now. If Andy was the HC…fine. But, Chip needs more runners.

        • anon

Bryce had solo much talent, but he wasn’t doing the little things, blocking, studying honing his craft. I loved watching him run, but it was sort of clear that he was losing his spot.

    • oreofestar

Polk, Sproles plus gotta hope an UDFA ends up being a decent backup I mean a 3rd/4th for a backup you drafted in the 7th was too good a deal

  • Greg

Christian Jones signed with the Jaguars…

Oh well. I’m sure there’s a reason he went undrafted, besides the positive drug test.

    • TommyLawlor

Catch 22. He’s undrafted so you really want him…but he went undrafted for a reason.

      • Greg

Like Chip said, if you really like the guy you go get him in the earlier rounds. Seems Chip had a lot of interest during FSU’s Pro day but either it was a smokescreen or something came up that made them change their minds.

  • mksp

Jags always seem to get the best UDFAs, but I assume thats bc higher probability to make team.

    • Anders

Maybe they are also paying more.

      • Baloophi

They must be using all that money they save by outfitting their war room like a lemonade stand…

  • RC5000

    Kevin Graf ‏@KevinGraf77 4m

Couldn’t be more excited for the opportunity to play for the Philadelphia Eagles!

    • GermanEagle

Is he the brother of Steffi?!

      • Baloophi

  • Anders

Eagles newest TE Blake Annen, a Bearcat. ran a 4.41 at 247 at his pro day

    • Mitchell

This looks promising. Maybe a Colt Lyerla type minus the insanity.

    • anon

He can run but hopefully he can catch too.

    • ztom6

all I needed to hear was that he was from Cincinnati. Eagle factory.

  • Scott J

Colt Lyerla? No way in hell.

    • oreofestar

I wish…but Chip knows him well might have been a problem child at Oregon too

      • OregonDucker

He was a problem and Chip gave him a lot of rope. He peed up the rope and hanged himself. No way he gets a chance again. Sorry GEagle.

  • McNabbulousness

was checking out the FA signings list over at 24/7 and i’m kinda hoping carey spears (vandy PK) makes the team just for the enjoyment/awesomeness of having a guy nicknamed “Murderleg” on the team

  • SuPaFrO

Is still a bit disappointing that we didn’t or haven’t gotten any ILB depth like C.Jones or lokombo.

    • Patrick

Yeah, it surprised me a little too. I guess that the Eagles really are satisfied with Jason Phillips, Casey Matthews, Jake Knott, Emmanuel Acho and Najee Goode battling it out for the backup spots behind the obvious starters in DeMeco and Kendricks.
I would speculate that they were interested in Mosley and Shazier because from day one that could challenge for a starting job, but in my opinion, those two were the only dynamic options available. Maybe the Eagles were only interesting in upgrading the starters, not backups.

      • SuPaFrO

U can argue both Telvin smiths flying ability and Jones versatility as play makers but u can’t help to wonder if the potheads thing would have given them a chance to have gotten drafted by Kelly
