No Eagles action today, but plenty of football on tap. Next week the Eagles take on the Skins so I will probably watch the JAX-WAS game. I’m curious to see how that group looks after an awful showing in the season opener. DJax could run wild on that secondary, but the Skins have to be able to protect RG3 and he’s got to play well.

The Giants catch a huge break with Carson Palmer out. Drew Stanton will take his place for the Cards. This feels like a must-win situation for the Giants so it will be interesting to see how they respond.

Dallas vs the Titans. Not a compelling game, but I’ll be a huge Titans fan for the day.

Griffin is going to have a career on field like Vick. He’ll be injured for 3 games a year. Also, Cousins is just a better QB. He’s not as dynamic, explosive, or fast. But, he is a better QB with mechanics, awareness, reads, ball placement. Watching the skins with the 2 QB’s, Cousins is just more efficient, effective and responsible. I don’t see how the coach or owner doesn’t see their fortunes are better off with Cousins. If you want to win, make the switch.
WAS defense is tough, they are finally letting Orapko rush and Hatcher is dominating this game. WAS has a commitment to the run and you see why they are successful at it. This is not going to be an easy game for the Eagles when they play.

‘Chip era’ is 1 year and it is a perfect example of ‘they all play us close’ that doesn’t mean anything.
Skins defense played well last week vs Texans too but they still are very much in the ‘prove it’ mode. Won’t know what kind of defense they have until they play a good offense and have 4-5 games under their belt.

Yup… They didn’t have to pass in the first half against us which is why we couldn’t take advantage of that OL until we got back in the game and forced them to try and throw. Skins took a early lead, so the jags couldn’t avoid throwing the ball, and the skins got to take advantage of that OL.

It’s a shame that OL is so bad, that they can’t put BOrtles in the game. Even if a rookie QB is ready, you don’t put him behind slop like that

TV coverage us unwatchable. Five guys talking over each other. Just saying whatever is told to them in their earpiece. I never watch a pregame show. In fact I watch most games with the sound off. Try it. Very enjoyable. You miss nothing
