Know Your Enemy – PIT
Posted: September 25th, 2016 | Author: Tommy Lawlor | Filed under: Philadelphia Eagles | 193 Comments »We all know the Steelers pretty well. They have a terrific coach in Mike Tomlin. QB Ben Roethlisberger has won a couple of Super Bowls and might be headed to Canton, OH when he retires. Antonio Brown might be the best WR in the league. The Steelers 3-4 defense is tough to run on and they are a very physical, hard-hitting group. Not a lot of mystery in this matchup.
Season recap:
PIT 38, WAS 16
PIT 24, CIN 16
The Steelers gained 374 yards or more in each game. They allowed 384 yards or more in each game. Some of the yards allowed came while protecting leads and the opponents being in desperation/comeback mode. PIT has the #1 Red Zone defense in the league. Driving on them is one thing, but scoring TDs is a serious challenge.
– Misc Player Notes –
RB DeAngelo Williams – Leading rusher in the NFL. Patient. Has excellent vision and body control. Deceptively good. Hard to bring down.
WR Sammie Coates – Young player with excellent size/speed. Has drops issues. Has made some big plays so far this year. Only 4 catches, but averages 38.3 yds per reception.
DL – DE Cam Heyward, NT Javon Hargrave and DE Stephon Tuitt are all athletic players who can make plays. These aren’t simply big guys who are supposed to eat up blockers.
ILB Ryan Shazier – Put on some Steelers tape and #50 will jump out at you. He is a fast, athletic LB that can make plays all over the field. He’s not a 250-pound thumper, but Shazier can fly and he can hit. He’s the key to the defense.
S Mike Mitchell – Slow. Can’t cover. The Steelers still get the best out of him. Mitchell is a very physical player. He hits like a ton of bricks and isn’t afraid of pushing the rules. You can catch the ball in front of him, but you will pay the price.
Greg Cosell did a video for PE.com showing how the Steelers mix “trap” coverages into their looks. This will Β be a challenge for a young player like Carson Wentz. Cosell shows on the video plays where veterans Joe Flacco and Andy Dalton got fooled by the Steelers. They face the Steelers twice a year, every year. If they’re getting fooled, you can bet this will be a tough challenge for Wentz.

Pederson has heard the Andy Lite comments since the Eagles hired him in January. Owner Jeffrey Lurie made it clear that his association with Reid was one of the characteristics that made him an attractive candidate. And much of Pederson’s offense, training, and schedule have come from the former Eagles coach.
But Pederson has picked his spots to tweak. He may be a newer version of Reid, but he is also very much his own man.
“I don’t try to fight it as much as try to be who I am,” Pederson said of the Reid comparisons. “Listen, a lot of my background has been learning from Andy Reid, so that’s kind of all I’ve known. But at the same time, I’ve watched and observed and took my notes over the years and have now tried to do things differently.”
Pederson is 160 wins, 11 playoff appearances, six NFC East crowns, and an NFC championship game victory from being mentioned in Reid’s class. But of the changes he has made to his mentor’s blueprint, each would seem to address a weakness or seem logical.
Spring workouts and training camp were a carbon copy of Reid’s. But the regular-season schedule has been different, in particular the time between the morning walk-through and practice. Reid’s plan has lunch and media availability in between the two sessions, while Pederson moved practice from early afternoon to late morning.
“There was such a big break between the walk-through and practice and I just wanted to flow right into practice,” Pederson said. “Give the players the back-end times for meetings, media, lift.”
The morning time line is now breakfast, installation meetings, walk-through, and a practice that runs into the early afternoon. Fletcher Cox, who played a season under Reid, said that the players are given about three minutes to put their pads and helmets on in between walk-through and practice.
“It carries over into the practice so it’s fresh in our mind,” Cox said. “And you don’t have to get dressed again.”
I have had some serious concerns about Pederson, but he has been a pleasant surprise. The man we see at PCs talking to the media stumbles over his words and says some strange, if not dumb, things.
The guy who is in meeting rooms and the locker room is very different. Very different. He is well-prepared. There is logic behind his decisions, which generally seem to be good decisions. He is aggressive, but not reckless. He’s able to motivate his players. Pederson’s assistants and his players all seem to be on the same page and everyone is getting along right now.
Success cures a lot of problems. Pederson went 4-0 in the preseason and the team is 2-0 in the regular season. The big decisions made by Pederson have worked to this point. Trade Sam Bradford and start the rookie QB, no problem. Trade Eric Rowe and play 7th round rookie Jalen Mills, no problem. Trade for DGB and get rid of veteran free agent receivers, no problem.
There will be some serious adversity at some point and we’ll see how Pederson handles it. He dealt with the Nelson Agholor situation effectively. He had to navigate the tricky waters of Bradford demanding a trade and did that well. Pederson left Wentz in the preseason opener too long and that resulted in an injury. That didn’t hurt Wentz or the team.
There will be a losing streak. Or a dumb play-call. Or a wasted timeout. Or some bizarro locker room controversy. Something will happen that truly challenges Pederson and we’ll see how he deals with it.
For now, I’m very impressed. It feels like he learned from both Andy Reid and Chip Kelly and the Eagles are getting the best of both worlds.

[…] Tommy Lawlor We all know the Steelers pretty well. They have a terrific coach in Mike Tomlin. QB Ben […]
So the Eagles have now gone 7-0 (including preseason) since firing Chip Kelly… I think now it’s obvious why we’ve been saying “Chip Kelly should be fired immediately” since his first loss in 2013!
You were calling for him to be fired in 2013 after watching the 2012 team?
I’m liking this team a ton more than last year’s, but… your 7-0 includes four meaningless preseason games, so really 3-0. And those three are a dreadful New York Giants team who had checked out as their coach was about to be fired, a Cleveland Browns team coming off an awful year and with a new QB, and the Bears, who while better had issues. Pretty sure Chip would have won those three, at least the first two. I’m glad Chip was fired, but because of what he did in 2015, not 2013 and mostly not 2014.
Just hope this isn’t the high point of the season. We are coming to a tough stretch and our OL depth will most likely be tested once Johnson is suspended. But it could be fun too.
That idea of practicing at the same time as most of the games are played sounds very familiar! Also, while reading blogs about other teams, more are blasting music or rap during practice and more teams are using hand signals or one word/number to call plays from the sidelines.
I have one hand signal in particular I’d like to share with the rest of the NFC East…
I’d also like to use the finger on that hand signal to pull the pin on a flash bang to throw into gatherings of their fans.
“And those three are a dreadful New York Giants team…..”
That somehow has been annointed with magic BS holy water from the national press and people think are good somehow……F THEM!
Wont last.
Are you sure because I remember going on a 3 game losing streak between Mia, Det., and Tampa. 2 of which we got horribly crushed. Are you really positive we would have won this games?
No way no how could we have lost to the Giants in the last game, unless we sat Bradford. They were barely trying. And… the Browns. Chip won his share too — right after those three games, we beat the Patriots (which needed luck) and the Bills, no pushovers. It’s not like we were 4-12. The Bears… tossup probably. The 2015 team could have found a way to lose that, for sure, but also may have squeaked it out.
“Pederson left Wentz in the preseason opener too long and that resulted in an injury.”
Not sure I get this logic.
The 14th team O-line was in and not blocking anybody. Leaving Wentz in with that group was a mistake that resulted in an injury. What aren’t you getting about that?
He was the third string QB, who was he supposed to play with, the starting O-line? I can see faulting Doug for not calling more running plays and quick read throws to protect him, but taking him out of the game doesn’t get him experience. Plus he needs to get used to getting hit if Kelce remains at center for the rest of the year.
But he needed to limit Wentz’s preseason reps so he didn’t get hurt so he was available to take preseaon reps. π
Meh. To call it a mistake is being a bit of a hindsight hero, don’t ya think? At the time he was the 3rd stringer, no shot of playing this year. Didn’t we want to get him all the game time he could get?
At the time he was the 3rd string QB who needed to get his feet wet. He didn’t leave him in to long.
“I have had some serious concerns.” @Tommy: Seriously? How about “some questions about”? Are you still perseverating about 4th and goal at the 2? I realized you hated that call. I loved it. Riverboat gambler-esque that we rarely saw from his self-styled riverboat gambler predecessor. I’m sure the offense welcomed the call.
At worst, the inept Bears’ offense has to travel 98 yards and score a TD at that point in the game. Pederson sent a decisive message to the team. I’ll take that any day over a FG attempt from a kicker experiencing leg cramps.
Well, someone is interested in continuing the discussion about 4th and 2, but I don’t think that is what Tommy was referencing.
When the search was underway for a new coach, Doug was not Tommy’s top pick (or, really, anyone’s). That was how I read his comment.
I don’t get why most people seem to ignore Sturgis status at the 4th and 2 moment. The guy seemed like to be in serious pain after all his kicks. He missed an pretty easy kick before. Just because Pederson said after the game that Sturgis is ok and just had cramps, I’m sure his decision to go for it was very much influenced by Sturgis status and his body language.
Also, many seem to forget the logic of having the opponent backed at their own 1 or 2 Yard line that Pederson brought up. Yes, in this particular instance with the score as it is, it makes sense to make it a 3 possession game. I get that. But I love the “if you don’t make it, we have them backed up at their 1 Yard line” logic. Not many NFL coaches seem to think about that. It’s a DCs dream to call a play if the opponent is that close to their own goal line. And there’s a real chance to get a Safety, which gives you 2 points and good field position.
Peterson trusted his defense to hold the bears if the birds didn’t score The birds would probably had excellent fuel position .
TBH Tommy has been pretty iffy on Dougy P from day one. To his credit he is starting to embrace him. He is still a scorned lover of Chipah. Time and PBR heals all wounds buddy.
He’s talking about things before the season, the terrible press conferences, his lack of pedigree vs the other coaches on the market, how trying to “bring back the band” never works, etc.
No he is not talking about that in anyway. Did you read what he said?
Things are a little tense here today. Wife’s a steelers fan. Alot riding on the games outcome, difference between served and subservient for the remainder of the week… She has her ugly pee yellow towel out and I’m channeling old with my Trotter jersey. Let’s go birds.
I’d like to remind you, if the unspeakable happens there are a bunch of other islands out there. If you keep moving, you can probably evade harassment for most of the week.
I will have the same issue in my household when we play the Ravens.
EVERYONE is predicting the Steelers except ESP. Horrible sign considering ESP’s track record. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Eagles 38 Steelers 24
Oh boy. True kiss of death
ESP predicting Eagles’ win or me predicting it?
Def ESP. (FUCK!)
ESP
I honestly STILL don’t know what to expect. If D shows and we can run the ball some… Not willing to say we lose just because all the reasons still exist why we were supposed to lose our first 2 games. Not predicting win but not accepting loss based on everything else outside of the 46 guys playing at home today.
If the Eagles win this game today, the Super Bowl talk is going to start. Stunned how many people think the Eagles are going to win this game and how overly positive folks have been this week.
If the birdies win (they won’t) they should be considered one of the better teams in the league.
fansanity π
And if we lose how many miliseconds will it take before the “told you so” talk begins?
It isn’t about that even if they win. I was hoping they would be 2-1 headed into the bye & they have already done that.
Just Week 3 though and that is an eternity in an NFL season. The feeling I got this week was the same I got after the third preseason game last year with some of the same hyperbole used about Wentz. Maniac nature of this town and the fan base & media on any issue that is Eagles-related.
I’m with you, Bob. We get two wins against bad teams and we’re going to the Superbowl, and our QB problems of the last decade are over, and Pederson is a great coach and the “haters” were wrong, our WRs are actually good after all, and of course we’re the class of the NFC East, and why shouldn’t we beat the Steelers, since Wentz is obviously as good as Big Ben.
I don’t think we win this game, but the fact that we actually have a prayer is shocking based on what most people were predicting this season. Wentz has been exceptional by any standard. He has a long way to go before he should be mentioned in the same breath as Big Ben, but he is certainly on the right track. The WR’s have been slightly better than expected but still aren’t good. The NFC Least is still a joke compared to most of the divisions.
OT, but does anyone honestly believe that Josh Norman is anywhere close to the player OBJ is? OBJ is going to go off on Norman today. I feel like I am taking crazy pills.
If Norman doesn’t move they will just follow the Steeler blue print. Would be nice to see them use him as a shadow. Not sure if he is the real deal, but if he is, to me a great corner will shut down a great receiver.
Norman’s an excellent corner, but OBJ is an amazing athlete. OBJ should win his share of the matchup. What I’m hoping for is that Norman gets in his head again and makes it extra interesting. Looking for some suspensions π
Article on Birds 24/7 with Big Ben saying how after the 2008 game against he almost retired. Had to get talked out of it by teammate.
wow. That game was awesome.
It has been ’24/7′ Wentz but I’m most interested to see how the defense can match up especially the secondary & if they can continue to force some turnovers this week.
Even if the Eagles give up ~400 yards this week, if they can force 2-3 turnovers and keep the Steelers at 24 or under with 1-2 red zone stops (Steelers are 100% so far), I like the Eagles’ chances
I would think any team that forces 2 to 3 turnovers has a very good chance to win.
His point
had many more variables, not just takeaways.
I bet the Eagles’ streak of no turnovers ends this week too. Basically see as a winnable game for the Eagles if they can hold the Steelers to 23-24 pts.
I think the game may come down to the secondary vs wide receivers as both teams have below average cornerbacks. I just hope there are no significant wide receiver drops that lose the game for Eagles. I have no confidence in any of our receiver’s hands outside of Burton and DGB.
I would think Steelers fans would be pretty disappointed if Ben doesn’t significantly outplay Wentz.
They’ll get over it.
It’s possible, but highly unlikely. I see the Eagles moving the ball on the Steelers, but bogging down in the RZ. I also don’t see a corner on Philly who can even slow down Antonio Brown. Totally on the front 7 and Jim Schwartz coming up with ways to confuse and hit Big Ben or the Steelers score at will.
So, I guess I’m cheering for a Giants loss here, right? Is that the correct play? That and suspensions all around.
Part of me just wants to see the Washington team continue to spiral, but the correct play is Gints loss.
I’m struggling with the same thing. Anything that causes Dan Snyder pain is good. But its better for the Eagles if the Ginas lose.
They look so bad on D.
Yep, root for a big Norman-Beckham brawl leading to multiple players getting multi-game suspensions, followed by NY suffering an infuriating loss due to their own incompetences outstripping WAS ineptitude.
Wow, Breeland and Lichtensteiger down already. Wash is a mess with injuries.
Breeland might be addition by subtraction
He would easily start for us.
I want to watch the Carolina/Minny game. Curious to see how Sammy Sleeves does in week 2.
After nearly 9 quarters is it safe to say the WASTEAM is just bad at football?
Yes
Washington smells like a 3 alarm dumpster fire.
the same bad team as last year without the last place schedule
Difference between Giants fans and Eagles fans:
We’re 2-0 and excited about it, but still realistic.
The Giants are 2-0 and their fans (bolstered by the media) are acting like they’re the class of the NFL.
I live in NY…God help me if the Giants win this game and go to 3-0…
Washington doesn’t beat teams with winning records
Splitting my time between the Carolina game and the Giants game. Washington’s D has no prayer. Carolina’s ST’s are doing their best to keep Minnesota in the game.
pffft, how is the Arizona D giving up points to Buffalo… They fired their goddamn offensive coordinator this week and their O wasnt that amazing to begin with.
It would be incredibly ironic if the Bills win after making one of the stupidest decisions (firing an O-coordinator we all agree wasn’t the problem).
More damning . . . Arizona is/was supposed to be a Super Bowl contender. They certainly haven’t shown that in the 1st 3 weeks.
You can knock Eli for a lot of things, but toughness is not one of them.
Decision making. . . That face he makes every time something goes wrong . . .
Dude, I love EliFace!
Damn, Washteams kicker really wracking up the fantasy points >_<
Carolina making Sam look like the QB I expect him to be. Carolina also making the Vikings D look ordinary.
The vikings have 9 points, 2 off a safety and 7 off a punt return…. These damn vikings are going to figure out how to make the playoffs off opportunistic plays.
DJax is a Giant Killer.
When he makes like those two, “F—in’ Chip!!!”
I miss Maclin more, but !@#$ Chip for giving away DJax for nothing.
Anyone else thinking we may have dodged a bullet when Miami hired Gase? Miami’s looked baaaaaaaaaaaad these first couple weeks and that team has talent.
Who would have ever thought Dougie P has the team humming early while Gase struggles. Those seemed like real long odds back when coaches were being hired.
Sure does seem like it. Then again, Miami is becoming like Cleveland – a place you go to kill your coaching or QB career.
Anybody watching the Carolina game . . . how was that not a horse collar tackle on Minnesota? Clearly grabbed Cam by the back of the jersey?? Is there something in the rules I’m missing?
Horse caller requires you get your and inside the pads… I didnt see the play, but I think thats the rule, cant just be the jersey.
Looked it up quick on the net:
A type of football tackle where the tackling player grabs the opening of the jersey and/or shoulder pads on a player’s back and pulls them to the ground. As a result of several high profile injuries from this maneuver, in 2005 the NFL started penalizing this type of tackle with a 15 yard personal foul penalty.
Well there ya go. I didnt see it but maybe the refs made a bad call then.
Does Cam’s jersey say “Brady” on the back? If not, no foul.
Cam can’t buy a call for roughing or any other similar call. It’s BS. I hate Brady’s whining for a call every time he gets breathed on, but Cam should start mimicking him.
They will just call Cam a baby instead
A lot of fans already do. MediaMike are you on?? π
Same as it ever was with McNair, McNabb, Vick.. you run a bit as a QB and suddenly half the rules don’t apply.
There’s something else those guys have in common and it’s not the Scottish names, either.
Steve Young didn’t get calls either. It’s not just race.
Sleeves 4 for 11 for 26 yards in the first half. Guess that’s come back down to earth. He played out of his goddamn mind last week.
facing Carolina front 7 on the road, the first week After losing your RB and LT is a Tough matchup
Looked really good on the opening drive of the 2nd half. I’m still not a fan, but he’s playing better than he ever did in Philly.
In the meantime, the Ginas are doing everything in their power to keep the Washington Dumpster Fires in the game.
Jackson just missed what should have been a big gain that put them on the door step of taking the lead. Washington sucks, but the little fairies ain’t much better.
Looked like he opened his hands the wrong way there. Maybe he should have opened them facing the ball.
Still a tough catch
I miss the days of Coughlin red-faced throwing shit…
Wow is Cousins a moron.
He is . . . he really is. So’s Gruden for calling a slow developing play. That was Reidesque time management.
Wow Kurt! HAHAHAHA
ahh lol, Classic Andy-Reid-Donova-Mcnabb esque clock management there at the end of the half haha.
And if WA is that bad and that close to ny at half…
I really don’t get the media’s sucking on the little fairies schlong. There are power rankings that have them in the top five. Have they watched this team????
I don’t get it, Kurt you have played this game your whole life 6 seconds left you have one read and thats it. Nope he surveys the field and takes a sack. Clueless.
Spiking the ball to save the time out was dumb when they are taking shots in the ENDZONE anyway
Yeah, I could see the spike if there were going to be 15-20 seconds left since the timeout can save you from a disaster (or can open up other plays) and you still get two shots at the end zone. But in that case… just take the timeout, have 20+ seconds to run three pass plays (if not there throw it away). But with 11… you basically are only giving yourselves one shot anyways. Or two if the QB makes a quick pass or throws it away, a limited play book. Not thinking that the QB would take option 3 (hold it until the sack).
Cousins is seriously terrible. He makes some of the worst decisions I’ve ever seen.
He’s got a good enough arm. He’s accurate. But gawd . . . really, really horrible decisions in the clutch.
Sounds like a young Romo.
Romo only chokes if it’s the playoffs or a game to make the playoffs.
Stefon Diggs is easily the best WR Bradford’s every played with.
Hue jackson a funny dude. Publically rips Wentz to justify passing on him, and then he runs his mouth about how they should trust him because they got a “steal” in Kessler…. Hue keeps this up and he will Quickily reach Rex Ryan Blowhard level
..
Hoping Keenum gets knocked out of the Rams game so they are forced to put their #1 pick on the field
….
Cousins continues to look like crap, with the exception of closing his eyes and throwing deep to Desean
..
giants are so overrated, we will dominate that OL just like the past 3 years
I only get to wear my Miracle in the New Meadowlands tshirt twice a year…
So, Aaron Rodgers is still good? Next up, we find Andrew Luck is still good?
Great throw by Bradford . . . damn it.
Giamts are so overrated, but their rookies Sterling Shep and Eli Apple are legit… Fortunately we don’t have to worry about them until they address their shity OL… Garbage Jon Jerry almΓ²st got Eli killed
Bad news is the Little Fairies seem to have fixed their porous run D. Much better against the run than they were the last few seasons. The secondary is still meh.
Yeah they have the second rated DL in the division behind us, and their Corners are probably the best in the division, but you can throw all over their linebackers and slow Safeties And that going to hurt them when They face Pederson who made a living in KC throwing to RBs and TE’s.. Burton, Ertz, Sproles, should cause them problems
Their front four isn’t nearly as good as the Eagles when it comes to rushing the passer. Might be a bit more stout against the run though.
Boger is such a bad ref. Missed an obvious PI call then called a ticky tack illegal contact. !@#$ he sucks.
Let’s go Washington!!! Show the world just how overrated the Little Fairies are!!!
Haha, the Gints are losing, what a joke.
minnesota down 118 – 236 in total yards, still winning the game. Special teams and defense making the difference. I hate how complete a team Minny is.
I don’t see it lasting, but Minny’s already exceeded expectations this year.
It’s just frustrating because of where we will end up picking, the worst case scenario is Minn making the playoffs then getting bounced early. And they can win different ways, Bradford has 86 yards passing through 3 quarters and they’re ahead. That’s just the kind of team Minny is.
Cam needs to stop holding the ball. Carolina’s been moving the ball but he keeps making mistakes and putting the team in bad places. Just did it again throwing a pick.
Yeah I’ve given up hope of getting a really good pick. They might have gone 8-8 with Shaun Hill. If they get even decent QB play they are probably at least in the playoffs. I can’t see that game but second half stats for Bradford are just fine (14-17, 145 yards or so, 1 TD, 0 INT), and Cam’s look pretty poor after halftime.
What is going on with that game? Sleeves has 5.1 ypa, which is a far worse average than even his usual.
Change Giants to Hoovers…
Too bad Washington’s D has less talent than most of the better teams in the SEC.
Early season candidates for coach of the year: Mike Zimmer & Belich*ck.
You missed Pederson π
Well, you know I meant runner-up to Pederson of course.
On a serious note, Pederson’s done the best job of taking a team with no expectations and getting rock solid play out of them. Are the Eagles suddenly SB contenders? No. But they are a threat to make the playoffs and no one was predicting that. Also, yes I know the level of competition has been a joke, but the Eagles have done exactly what you’re supposed to do when the other team sucks. They’ve dominated.
The Cardinals flubbed a field goal and it got returned for a touchdown… I’m not sure I understand what is happening.
#AnygivenSunday
That a$$h0le Bruce Arians karma is catching up to him.
I’ve seen more bad pick plays this year . . . . you’ve gotta be subtle. You frankly don’t need to touch the defensive player . . . just make him run around you.
OK. Washington sucks, but Jordan Reed does not.
That was a fucking catch man.
Tyrod Taylor 11/21 for 76 yards and an interception, Bills winning 30-13. This is a brave new world in the NFL.
Now that’s what you’re supposed to do when you’re 0-2 facing a division rival. Pull out all the stops. Washington with a big fake.
Cousins still awful in the RZ this year. Not sure wtf Gruden was thinking w/that QB draw call either.
Jeez. WTF was that lol
Carolina not doing their part to make sure we get a better pick
Cam is not having a good game. Of course, he can’t buy a call either π
The Browns are now on their 4th quarterback in 3 games. I love it. I hope they start Pryor next week so that they have 4 different starters in 4 different games.
Wentz should be grateful their FO is incompetent.
I’m grateful their FO is incompetent.
Wentz’s revenge?
ahhhh lol Manning.
Giants looked liked they were going to take control there
Norman gets abused AND the Giants give it away? Beautiful.
And the Giants C got ejected for hitting Norman (2nd personal foul of the game)
Now we need an emotionally crushing bad snap when momentum is building.
The play earlier should have been a pick as well. I guess replay couldn’t decide on the slightest of bobbles as the player was rolling around, but I thought that was an INT, and it gifted the Giants three more points (after Cousins gifted three more earlier).
Manning Face!!!!!
So ummmmm Rex Ryan not so bad. Sammy B making the vikings one of the best teams in football.
Gotta think we’re going to win against Pitt.
A Rodgers doing A rodgers things
Lol @ the Giants center for getting Ejected from the game… #YaBigDummy
..
Josh Norman was a mess on that last drive but a teammate bailed him out with a redzone INT
..
So Demarco Murray is a good running back – think we can make that official.
ODB is great, but he acts like a clown
He is beasties with Dez, so…
This is Marvin Lewis’ last year in Cincy.
I been saying that for the last 3 years,,, andy Reid minus any of the playoff wins lol maybe this will finally be the year
ODB is such a punk
ODB getting smacked by the kicking net – that’s got meme for years written all over it.
Cody Parkey is in Cleveland.
Well, they desperately need a QB.
Actually, he is in Miami, but we get you.
Pryor putting up a hell of a game.
So the shot of ODB with tears in his eyes – do we praise his emotional investment?
Nah, crybaby! Haha.
Trevor siemian with another monster stat line, guess Peyton was holding them back.
Redskins suck – this is awesome.
Wow, Giants called for a personal foul, nullifying their blocked punt.
Couldnt write a movie about this game
The previous sequence was great too — 3rd and 7 for the Redskins, JPP is badly offsides, making it 3rd and 2 instead. Redskins counter with a ridiculous screen pass which gets blown up for a 7 yard loss. Setting up the punt.
Holy shit, what a dumpster fire this game is. The Eagles are going to truck these fools.
yeah it’s great to watch
McApoo looks like he’s here to fix the refrigerator.
Eli throw right to two defenders, with the receiver going deeper, and somehow not intercepted. Next play very close to a catch and fumble by ODB but ruled incomplete. Giants get the FG.
Cant believe that want an INT
Why do we get banged on for beating crappy teams but the ginas are elite?
Browns not so bad…?
I’d say great minds and all that, but it doesn’t apply in my case. π
So, we took apart the Browns with their original starting QB with a rookie in his first start after playing only one half of pre-season football. But, ya know the Browns suck. Hardly a professional team. The Browns, but for another QB injury, then go on to nearly beat the Ravens – definite playoff contenders, and are currently tied with the Dolphins – also thought playoff contenders despite the 0-2 start.
I get why some don’t believe in the Eagles. I don’t get why the Little Fairies are such media darlings.
New thread.
Parkey lol
Parkey 3rd miss
