The inactives are out.

No major surprises there. Darby is still a week or more away from playing. No reason to rush him back. As for the OL situation, Chance Warmack is the #3 OG, while Isaac Seumalo is the #3 OT.

SF will be missing their RT (Brown). We’ve talked about that. Reuben Foster is out and that leaves a big hole in the middle of the defense. All the more reason to run the ball today. Make SF stop you.

The weather will be a factor.

It really will be interesting to see the offensive strategy. Does Doug Pederson try to throw early to build a lead or does he stay balanced, wanting to let his players adjust to the conditions?

It is important for the Eagles to win this game. They already lost the Kelce Bowl (Jason vs Travis of KC) and they don’t want to lose the Celek Bowl (Brent vs Garrett). You can’t have Eagles players losing to their brothers. The team still has the Long Bowl (Chris vs Kyle of CHI) in late November.

Joking aside, I think the Eagles will be ready for this game. They played on MNF so this is a short week. That means less time to get caught up in the hype. I also think the injuries to Peters and Hicks were humbling. You lose guys like that and it has to help keep you grounded.

We’ll find out soon enough.

    Dak continues to not impress me. He doesn’t make mistakes but their whole offense is Elliott hand offs, play action, clear outs, and screen passes. He’s almost never asked to make a really tough throw.

    The linebackers are constantly sucked up, he has so many wide open throws overtop of the 2nd level. I am impressed though with how much power he’s throwing the wet ball with though.
