But the Eagles got contributions from a lot of different guys in that game.
Tre Sullivan had tackles on three consecutive plays. A couple of those were good stops.
Dallas Goedert was 3-30 as a receiver. His biggest contribution was recovering an Ertz fumble. The ball was there among several Texans, but Goedert hustled and got control of it.
LaRoy Reynolds had a pair of STs tackles. It felt like he was in on every coverage play.
DE Daeshon Hall had two tackles, half a sack and also was in on a STs tackle. He brought good energy to the field when he was out there.
TE Richard Rodgers had his first catch as an Eagle. This came on a third down play and moved the chains.
RB Boston Scott had some good KORs. One went for 35 yards.
DT Treyvon Heston was in on a couple of tackles and had a sack.
You need stars to shine in big games, but it also helps when role players also do their part.

The Eagles are getting ready in case they make the playoffs.
Roster Moves: #Eagles have activated WR Mike Wallace from Injured Reserve and have promoted CB Josh Hawkins from the practice squad to the active roster. The team also waived CB De’Vante Bausby and CB Chandon Sullivan. pic.twitter.com/L3LlAGxZUg

Wallace is a veteran receiver. If he Eagles get into the postseason, they could use his speed and his experience.
Hawkins has experience as well. He’s played more than Bausby and Sullivan.
We don’t know if the Eagles will make it in, but they are doing what they can to be as ready as possible.

Also included in The Day After: Game balls, five Eagles thoughts and leftovers and Lane Johnson on the week that led to him holding J.J. Watt to no sacks and no QB hits.

Lane Johnson is absolutely nuts. And I mean that in the best way possible. The Eagles are lucky to have such a dominant OT.

Merry Christmas everyone.
I know this season has been a tad tumultuous, but we’re Eagles fans. We wouldn’t want things to be easy, right?
If there is any good news, a year like this kept bandwagon fans away. Only lifers would stay through this kind of insanity.
