Gimme More Speed!

WR John Hightower – Boise State
The Eagles added another explosive weapon for the offense. Hightower ran 4.43. He delivered big plays all year long. He’s got okay size at 6-1, 189.
Hightower is an outside receiver and a KOR. BSU would get him the ball on end arounds and trick plays. Hightower isn’t just fast. He is an instinctive runner and playmaker.
Good value at this point.
Trade – WR Marquise Goodwin
The good…ran 4.27 coming out of college. Averages 16.6 yards per catch for his career. Veteran player.
The bad…lots of injuries. Only played in 16 games once in his career. Will turn 30 this season
The key…Eagles only had to move down 15 spots in the draft to get Goodwin. Low risk move. If he pans out, great. If he doesn’t, the cost was miniscule. The offense needed speed. I like bringing in a bunch of fast guys. Don’t count on one guy to solve the problem.
Trade – move back
The Eagles dealt a pick to Dallas, moving back and adding a 5th rounder in 2021.
Trade – move back
Eagles trade: Picks 173 and 227.
Bears trade: Picks 196, 200 and 233.
