Gameday – BAL at PHI

There are two options. The Eagles lose their fourth game of the year or they pull off the biggest upset of the day.

I’d love to tell you I have a sneaky feeling about the Eagles, but I don’t. Someone on the pregame show was talking about how you deal with the blitz and they mentioned downhill runs. If you hit the right spot, you have a big play. Maybe Miles Sanders becomes the real key to this game.

Carson Wentz will need to play well. And smart.

The offense has scored more points each week.

Up two, then four. Up two, then four. According to that pattern, the Eagles should score 31 points today. That would help a lot, even if it isn’t very likely.

The defense will be in for a big challenge. They will have reinforcements.

Will Parks and Vinny Curry will play. I’m curious to see how the coaches use them. I want Parks on the field as much as possible. I don’t want Curry out there a lot. He is a good run defender so that brings value to the table against this team, but I’d rather stick with the young guys.

OT Brett Toth is active. I’m hoping not to see him. I’d rather the starting OL stay healthy for a whole game.

Watch RG Jamon Brown. He was let go by teams with bad OLs and that is never a good sign. He’s now under the tutelage of Jeff Stoutland. Maybe that will make a difference. I’m guessing the Ravens will attack him and RT Jack Driscoll quite a bit.

Let’s see what happens. Hopefully we get an entertaining game.
