They led 20-3 and controlled the game at halftime. Dallas made terrific adjustments and really took it to the Eagles, eventually cutting the lead to 20-17.

After the lead went down to just six points, the Eagles responded in clutch fashion. They had a 13-play, 75-yard drive that ate up 7:37 and resulted in a TD. Dallas had only given up one rushing TD all year. Mile Sanders went 18-71-1 so they now have given up two rushing TDs. Sanders ran hard and had to fight for yards. Good game from him.
Dallas had not given up more than one TD in a game all year. The Eagles got three tonight. The Cowboys have an outstanding defense, but this was the best team and best offense they’ve faced all year. The Eagles won that battle.
There are still plenty of things to work on. Tackling was once again an issue. Kick coverage was an issue for the first time this year. Bootleg passes gave the defense real problems. All of this stuff can be improved, if not fixed.
