Will I watch?  Yes. I don’t miss Eagles games.

I’m down right now. This is so much worse than I’d have thought.  3 points?  A horrid pick-six by Vick?  I feel like I’m paying for sins from a past life.  I must have been the Spanish Inquisitor or Idi Amin or Yoko Ono…someone who really did evil things.

This sucks.

    BTW, that was a pretty unlucky P-6. Linebacker should have been called for holding, and Celek didn’t get enough of the ball even with being held.

    Vick’s fumble, was, however, horrible. Even though we recovered.

          early in the game we had brown bust a big run to like the 4, gave the ball to shady after that I think, brick wall. Next pass was the pick six I think.

    the D gave up 21 points to the saints. they are a pretty good offense so i don’t think i can be too pissed about that.

    I know I’m young, but Bell is the worst offensive tackle I have ever seen. Even Justice getting eaten alive by Clay Matthews wasn’t as embarassing. Bell pretty much ends up on his butt play after play, when he doesn’t commit penalties… getting shoved by one arm pushoffs like he weighs 100 pounds or something. And he’s out of breath, are you serious? I’m pretty sure he can’t wait for this game to be over. But don’t we all?

      Big part of the problem is the Eagles WR stink in the red zone. Jackson is too small and lacks the desire to take the hits in the middle of the zone and Maclin is just mediocre down here.

        Exactly. Reid is more about scheme than players and you can’t scheme nearly as much inside the 10 yd line. You need big time playmakers and an Oline that pushes people around. No coincidence this has been a decade long problem for Reid.

    As my friend who say, Vick is ‘psychologically damaged.’ Probably the starter but he looked spent several times tonight on the sidelines. When you see that look on athlete, it’s just a bad sign. Can’t blame him either. Randall in his prime would struggle to make plays. Ditto Vick.

    Most eagles fans will be at Stage 2 tomorrow and be angry as hell. I am at Stage 5 and accept this is the beginning of what we’ll might be a long-rebuilding phase starting almost from scratch last year with a new GM, coaching staff, and a new QB.

      It wasn’t the worst OL performance by an Eagles player in a game but it has to be pretty close. Still give it to Nick Cole in the Dallas playoff game or the infamous Justice debut vs Giants.

      It would be funny if Mudd made Bell try to catch a chicken all week in practice. Certainly couldn’t hurt his foot work.

      It’s not at this point. Been quite a while since the Eagles have won a game they really needed to. Argue they haven’t the past 3 years.

      Don’t see what firing Reid does at this point but he is dead man walking.

    What happened to the solid LB play the first few weeks? Kendricks seems to have taken a weekly dose of downers and looks confused & slow to react in almost every passing play. Ryans has played mediocre at best the past few weeks and you forget the Eagles even have a WIL LB on the field half of the snaps.

    Never thought I would see teams avoid Coleman either in pass coverage but the Saints did tonight.

      didinger and ike were talking about how the lbs are being exposed by offenses by spreading out and making them play more coverage and they’ve been sucking. I added some of my own language for your pleasure

      What’s absurd, is our schedule is insanely soft….and the only relevant team in the NFC East has a killer schedule ahead of them, and they are sending up flags of their scheduled november/december crumble. Cowboys fans have to be feeling really good right about now. And Mike Shanahan was throwing in the towel!!! It’s absurd, the NFC East is up for grabs, nobody wants it!
