New Version – Up and Running

Hi everybody. The new version of Iggles Blitz is up and running, which is great news. It is possible there will be a bug or two with the new version. Please be patient in case there are any hiccups.

You can list any issues here. That will allow us to track everything and work to get them resolved as quickly as possible. You can email me (igglesblitz-at-gmail.com) if you prefer to communicate with me directly. I will be checking the comments section closely for the next couple of days. Our technical guru (the real hero) will also be in there to check. His name is Alex and he’s done great work on this project.

The new version of Iggles Blitz will be ad free. This is a test for the 2025 season. If you can support the site through donations, there isn’t a need for ads and the site will have a cleaner look for everyone to enjoy.

Many of you requested that the site be secure (https). That will be a feature of the updated version. The site will function correctly on phones and tablets. I know people read from a variety of sources these days so we wanted to embrace everyone. I checked out the site this morning from my phone and it looked great.

Do not think the version you see in the next few days is the version you’ll see for the next decade. We won’t adjust it as much as Howie makes changes to the practice squad, but we’ll see what works well and what needs to be tweaked. We’ll also respond to your feedback. I run this site, but I feel like it belongs to all of us, a shared community of degenerate Eagles fans. Please let us know your thoughts, good and bad.

The regular season is just a few days away. Thankfully we’ll have a great looking site to talk about a team pursuing another Super Bowl.
