Gameday – PHI at DAL
Posted November 23rd, 2025 | No Comments »The Eagles have a chance to all but clinch the NFC East in Dallas today. The Cowboys are hoping to win and stay alive. Meaningful games always make this rivalry more interesting.
Dallas has the high-powered offense. Philly has the suffocating defense. Which group will win? I’m excited to see how the battle plays out. Expect Quinyon Mitchell to be on George Pickens a lot today. That means Adoree Jackson will have the tough task of covering CeeDee Lamb. Jackson has played better recently, but Lamb has the clear advantage. Jackson doesn’t need to win the battle, but just keep it close.
Jackson won’t have to cover as long if the Eagles pass rush can win their battle up front. The rush was outstanding last Sunday and needs another big game to slow down this offense. If Jalen and Jaelan play well, the defense will have a good day.
There aren’t any surprises on the inactives.

Fred Johnson will be at RT in place of Lane. Dallas has added talent to their DL and this will be their first real test. They dominated the Raiders, who have one of the worst OLs in the league and very limited skill players. The Eagles offense isn’t at peak performance, but there isn’t a lack of talent.
The Eagles offense must score points today. Getting one TD isn’t going to get the job done against Dak Prescott in Dallas. Dak is 21-2 at home against NFC East teams. You don’t go to Dallas and beat him very often. But as Nick Sirianni pointed out “Dak hasn’t faced the 2025 Eagles.”
The kelly green throwbacks make their road debut today. Those uniforms have been great at The Linc. Let’s hope they prove just as successful at JerryWorld.
Go win the turnover battle and win the game. Pull the plug on the Cowboys hopes of stealing the division away.
