Officially Official
Posted March 11th, 2026 | No Comments »The new league year began at 4pm on Wednesday, meaning signings, cuts and trades would finally be official. The Eagles didn’t make any new moves, but did make the signings of Riq Woolen, Johnny Mundt and Grant Calcaterra official.
I was hoping the Eagles would be able to sign edge rusher Bradley Chubb. Miami made his release official and that put him on the market. Unfortunately Buffalo swooped in and made Chubb an offer he couldn’t refuse.
Former Dolphins DE Bradley Chubb reached agreement on a three-year, $43.5 million deal worth up to $52.5 million that includes $29 million guaranteed with the Buffalo Bills, per @ErikBurkhardt of @RocNationSports. pic.twitter.com/4tIgKndmpy

That’s not a huge deal, but it is more than I expected Chubb to get. He’s about to turn 30 and has had a lot of injury issues over the years. He is a good player and would have been a good fit in this scheme. We don’t know if the Eagles had any interest. This was more of a projection from those of us on the outside.
We do know the Eagles are still looking for edge help. They looked into Trey Hendrickson before he signed his deal with the Ravens. No word on if they are talking to the Raiders about Maxx Crosby. You would think Howie Roseman would at least reach out to see what the price is.
The most likely target now may be Jonathan Greenard of the Vikings.
The Eagles continue to inquire about the Vikings’ Jonathan Greenard and remain in contact with his agent about a potential extension if a deal were to be struck, sources say.
Philly is also keeping tabs on the free agent pass rush market after missing out on Trey Hendrickson.

Greenard is a good player. The problem is that you have to trade for him and then he wants a raise. That’s not ideal, but the Eagles don’t have a lot of other great options so they may have to go this route. The asking price could be a third round pick. The Eagles paid that last year for Jaelan Phillips so they might be willing to do that again. Greenard had 12 sacks in both 2023 and 2024. Injuries limited him to 3 sacks and 12 QB hits last season.
The Eagles might have some internal help with their pass rush. Brandon Graham said that he isn’t retiring. He looked good when he played last season. The Eagles will need to talk to him and work out another one-year deal.

We have an update on Dallas Goedert.
Dallas Goedert was not listed as a free agent by the league.
His void date has been pushed back to Friday, a league source told @TheAthletic.
This procedural move would give both sides a chance to work out a contract extension.

This revelation makes it feel like DG will be staying in Philly. Both sides seem to want to work something out. The TE market didn’t lead to big deals this offseason so Goedert should be affordable.

Could the Eagles need to add a LB?
Eagles DC Vic Fangio revealed to @JClarkNBCS that Eagles LB Jihaad Campbell is dealing with a shoulder injury that could force him to miss most of the offseason.

Not great. Campbell had injury issues coming out of Alabama. Let’s hope they his shoulder fixed up so he can be on the field this summer. Campbell showed a lot of talent and potential last year. He needs more reps and experience to take his game to the next level.
The Eagles have checked out some LBs in the draft. They also reportedly checked on the availability of Patrick Queen. Jeremiah Trotter Jr is a good backup, but they may want additional insurance at such a critical position in Vic Fangio’s scheme.
