2026 Draft – Day 3 Preview

Posted April 25th, 2026 | No Comments »

Patience is a virtue, they say. Well, we will have to be virtuous today because the Eagles don’t have a fourth round pick. Their first selection will be number 178. The final pick last night was number 100 so we have a while to wait.

If you’re bored, go read my morning review of Day 2.

On to Day 3.

PICKS

Round 1: No. 23 – WR Makai Lemon – 5-11, 192 – USC
Round 2: No. 54 – TE Eli Stowers – 6-4, 239 – Vanderbilt
Round 3: No. 68 – OT Markell Bell – 6-9, 346 – Miami
Round 3: No. 98 – traded for ED Jonathan Greenard
Round 5: No. 178
Round 6: No. 197
Round 7: No. 244

POSITIONS

I’m going to focus on the key positions here. The Eagles will trust their draft board so they could take a RB or WR or ED. Here are the positions I think they will focus on. There are better options than you might think for a team with three late picks.

SAF – Drew Mukuba is set as one starter. I have Marcus Epps as the other starter, but he could be beaten out by a rookie. Epps is a good tackler and run defender. He’s not as much of a playmaker as the Eagles prefer. This is a spot where the Eagles could take someone as early as the second round. This is a good safety class so the Eagles don’t need to force things. If they can add an extra pick or two, I’d love to see them double-dip at safety.

OG – Another spot where there is a need for the future, possibly the present. Dickerson hopes to be healthy this season. If he is, he’s one of the best OGs in the league. He struggled mightily last season and the Eagles can’t go through that again. Steen was solid in 2025, but a very talented rookie could push him.

CB – The starters are set for 2026. There is a need for a young player to play opposite of Mitchell for the long term. That guy could be picked this year, but doesn’t have to be. The Eagles would probably like to address this position on Day 3.

DT – The Eagles have a good DL with Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Moro Ojomo and Byron Young. Ty Robinson didn’t show much as a rookie, but the team was very high on him so let’s give him a chance to develop. There is always room for another talented big man. The question is what they are looking for. I think they would prefer an athletic DT who can rush the passer. Jonny Page who does excellent work for BGN thinks they need more of a run stuffer. It will be interesting to see what they do. If Brando Graham comes back, he can rush up the middle so that may push them to go for more of a run stuffer.

LB – Vic Fangio loves LBs. The departure of Nakobe Dean means there is room to add one. I don’t see this as an early target, but never say never. Zack Baun will turn 30 this year so the team could take a LB earlier than expected. They have been checking out athletic LB prospects.

QB – There isn’t a need for a QB. That said, McKee is in the final year of his deal and the team might want to add someone to get ready for 2027. If they do that, it would mean carrying four QBs on the roster. The Eagles are one of the few teams who might be willing to do that. There is also the possibility of trading McKee. That could happen during the draft. The Eagles have looked at prospects who could go in the middle rounds as well as UDFAs. They will add a QB, either to the roster or the practice squad.

***

I would love to come away with one or two of these guys.

S Genesis Smith
S Kamari Ramsey
OG Brian Parker
OG Beau Stephens
DT Kaleb Proctor
DT Jordan van den Berg
LB Jimmy Rolder
LB Karson Sharar

DRAFT BOARD

The Eagles have to wait so long to pick that there isn’t much use in a normal draft board for us. I will list players of interest at the positions above.

Safety

This is a deep class so there is still likely to be someone of interest at 178.

Jalon Kilgore – South Carolina – 6-1, 210 – Has played CB and S. Wrap-up tackler. Physical player. Plays down in the box a lot. Comfortable playing in traffic and fighting through blocks to get to the ball. Can play nickel. Excellent awareness. Good ball skills. Good athlete with a sturdy frame. Played around 215 and then dropped weight for the Combine. The kind of versatile DB teams are looking for right now. Finished career with 178 tackles. Had 5 INTs and 5 PDs in 2024. Had 2 INTs and 10 PDs in 2025. Good playmaker.

Kamari Ramsey – 6-0, 202 – USC – Mostly plays deep when he’s at safety. Does a good job of diagnosing plays. Gets a good break on the ball. Decisive. Sees things and reacts quickly. Does a good job of transitioning from backpedal to driving on the ball. Good ball skills. Played nickel in 2025. Comfortable in man coverage. Physical tackler. Good range. Solid hitter. Showed playmaking potential while focused on safety in 2024. Had 2 INTs and 5 PDs. He has okay size and ran 4.47, which is good speed for a safety. Has fluid hips. I love the way he trusts his eyes and attacks.

Zakee Wheatley – 6-3, 203 – Penn State – Finished career with 222 tackles and 6 INTs. Wrap-up tackler. Good closing speed. Has some pop when he tackles. Attacks his targets aggressively. Plays fast and shows good athletic ability. Tough, physical DB. Good run defender. Good range. Really flies to the ball. Tough enough to play in the box, athletic enough to play deep. Only so-so in man coverage. Much better when he has things in front of him an can attack. Only ran 4.62 so he lacks ideal speed.

VJ Payne – 6-3, 206 – Kansas State – Excellent combination of size and speed. Good length as well. Ended career with 207 tackles, 4 FF, 4 INTs, and 9 PDs. There are times when he looks really good. Athletic DB who can fly to the ball. Solid hitter and tackler. Can be a playmaker. Other times he doesn’t diagnose as quickly and play as fast. Solid showing at the Senior Bowl.

Genesis Smith – Arizona – 6-2, 202 – Physical hitter and tackler. Good size. Finished career with 165 tackles, 5 INTs, 4 FF and 14 PDs. Can line up all over the field and in multiple roles. Can play the slot. Looks good in man coverage. Does a good job of reading the QB and then attacking the ball. Has good hands. Has quick feet and good change of direction ability. Showed explosiveness at the Combine and his athleticism shows up on the field.

Bishop Fitzgerald – 5-11, 201 – Trf from NC State. Had 5 INTs for the Wolfpack and then had 5 in his one season at USC. Solid tackler. Playmaker with very good hands. Does a good job of jumping routes. Diagnoses well. Sees things and attacks. Not special in terms of size or athleticism. More football player than athlete. Has the instincts and ball skills to play in the NFL. Will need to show he’s physical enough for the next level.

Xavier Nwankpa – 6-3, 208 – Iowa – Started all 13 games (76 tackles, TFL, INT, 2 FFs). Started 3 years overall. Physical player. Strong hitter and tackler. Aggressive. Will take on blockers and still go get the ball. Plays with a LB’s mentality. At his best when things are in front of him. Not as good when he has to turn and run with receivers. Takes good angles to the ball. Excellent combination of size and speed. Has good range. Can be a good zone safety and is strong in run support.

Dalton Johnson – 5-11, 192 – Arizona – Undersized safety with good speed and playmaking skills. 3-year starter. Had 4 INTs, 1 sack, 1 FF and 7 PDs as a senior. Has good range on the back end. Good ball skills. Lacks ideal size, but is fast and has good agility. Okay tackler. Good effort, but doesn’t have the strength to be as forceful as you’d prefer. Won’t always put guys down cleanly. This is a player you value because of his speed, range and ball skills.

Robert Spears-Jennings – 6-2. 205 – Oklahoma – Has excellent combination of size, speed and length. Limited playmaker. Only had 2 career INTs and 4 PDs. Did have 4 FF in 2024. Speed shows up on tape. Really flashes at times. Doesn’t show up consistently. Better athlete than player, but does have a lot of potential.

Michael Taafe – 6-0, 190 – Texas – Average size and speed. Finished career with 221 tackles, 7 INTs, 3 sacks and 14 PDs. Takes good angles to the ball. Comes down quickly in run support. Sloppy tackler. Right place, right time for most of his picks. Does show good hands. Triggers downhill quickly. Aggressive player. Productive, veteran DB, but doesn’t show anything special physically. Could be a good STer and role player in the NFL.

Cole Wisniewski – 6-3, 219 – Texas Tech – 6-year player, mostly at NDSU. Had 32 career starts. Had strong senior season. 73 tackles, 6 TFLs, 5 PDs, 2 FF. Began his career at LB before moving to S. Had 8 INTs while at NDSU. Wrap up tackler with good power. Big hitter. Looks good in man coverage. Played some slot in the Shrine Game and looked good there. Physical presence, whether in the box or the deep middle. Takes good angles to the ball. Can match up with TEs in man coverage. Doesn’t have ideal speed. Already age 24.

Deshon Singleton – 6-3, 205 – Nebraska – Started 12 games (70 tackles, 4 TFLs with 1 sack, 2 INTs, 4 PBUs). Has good size and length so he can match up with TEs better than most safeties. Physical player. Can hit. Had 3 career picks. All 3 were thrown right to him. Comes downhill aggressively and can wipe out runners. Has some real pop. Size and toughness will make him of interest to teams that like bigger DBs.

Louis Moore – 5-11, 191 – Indiana – Spent 7 years in college and is already 25. Tied for second in the FBS with 6 INTs. Started all 16 games for the national champions (88 tackles, 2.5 TFLs, 3 PBUs). Undersized with short arms. Really good college player with some pro limitations due to size/speed. Plays the ball really well. Good hands. Does a good job of jumping routes. Sloppy tackler. Will hit. Can play in the box or back deep. Could be one of those guys who is so instinctive he plays bigger/faster than he is and carves out a good career. But does have an uphill battle.

Ahmad Moses – 5-9, 196 – SMU – Led team with 104 tackles. Tied for seventh in the FBS with 5 INTs (1 returned for TD). Started all 13 games (5.5 TFLs with 1 sack, 3 PBUs). Team captain. 2-year starter with good production. Playmaker. Does a good job of jumping routes. Undersized, but plays bigger than he is. Has good hands. Does a good job of attacking downhill and making plays at the LOS. Good tackler. Can play in the box, in the slot or back deep. Good ball skills. 2 of his INTs came inside the 10-yard line. Has a nose for the ball. Has good range. There is a lot to like, but his size/length is an issue and he never ran for scouts. Just how fast is he?

Maximus Pulley – 5-11, 200 – Wofford – 34 career starts. Recorded 189 career tackles with 7.0 tackles for loss and 7 interceptions. Does a great job of jumping routes. Gets a really good break on the ball. Good hands. Solid tackler. Has quick feet. Comes down quickly in run support. Really good athlete and you see that on tape.

***

OG

There are quite a few OG prospects I still like.

Jeremiah Wright – Auburn – 6-5, 331 – 2-yr starter at RG. Began career on DL. Thick build. Good size. Has good feet and moves well. Shows a good nasty streak. Buries guys when he’s got the chance. Showed his good footwork at the Senior Bowl. Can be a very good pass blocker. Anchors well. Knows how to use his hands. Has some serious pop when he hits. Keeps his feet going on contact. Doesn’t pull a lot but shows good potential. Plays with excellent awareness. Can really lock guys up when he gets his hands on them cleanly. Straight line guy who isn’t great at pulling. Can be sloppy with his hands. Big guy who plays big.

Brian Parker – Duke – 6-5, 309 – NFL sees him as a G or C. Played in 40 games and started 33, 32 at right tackle and one at left tackle. Doesn’t have the feet for OT at the next level. Struggled when he faced TJ Parker last season. Does have a good frame. Solid athlete who blocks well on the move. Good run blocker. Has a wrestling background and you can see that in his play. Good with leverage and positioning. Tenacious blocker. Really gets after it. Comes off the ball well. Got to play C at the Shrine Game and looked right at home. Could be good at G or C at the next level.

Jager Burton – Kentucky – 6-4, 312 – Started 47 games. Very good showing at UK Pro Day. Good athlete. Quick from snap to block. Smart player who shows good awareness. Has quick, active feet. Does a good job of staying square. Plays with good leverage. Understands angles and positioning. Can be sloppy with his hands. Had a solid showing at the Shrine Game. 23 starts at LG, 15 at Center, 9 at RG. Very good workout numbers. Ran 4.94, did 28 reps on the bench and had a shuttle time of 4.45. Very athletic.

Beau Stephens – Iowa – 6-6, 315 – 3-yr starter. Spent 2 at LG and one at RG. Has good feet. Comes off the ball well. Plays with good leverage. Really latches on and sustains blocks. Good on reach blocks. Effective on pulls. Real physical player. Nasty. Good in pass pro. Smart player and technically sound. Not a great athlete, but one heck of a blocker. One of my favorite players in the draft. Maximum effort guy who will battle you every second of the game.

Billy Schrauth – 6-5, 310 – Notre Dame – Started 43 games at LG. Afffected by injuries in last two seasons. Played through them, showing his toughness. Big, strong blocker who excels in the run game. Moves pretty well. Solid pass protector. Uses his hands well. Physical player. Has the size, strength and skill to start at OG in the NFL. Injuries are a concern. Never tested for scouts at Combine or Pro Day, which isn’t a good look.

Kage Casey – 6-6, 310 – Boise State – 3-year starter at LT. Gives too much ground in pass pro. Must be able to anchor better. Thin build. Has pretty good feet. Plays under control. Pulls well and is good at blocking on the move. Could move inside to OG. Had some struggles at the Senior Bowl.

Logan Taylor – 6-7, 314 – Boston College – 4-yr starter. Versatile. Has starts at RT, LT, LG and RG. Trf from UVA. Too upright. Good in pass pro. Will bend his knees and keep a wide base. Keeps his feet active to mirror the rusher. Has good feet. You could really see that at the Senior Bowl practices. Not great on the move. Moves okay, but sometimes will stop his feet when contacting the defender. That robs him of his power. Plays with good awareness. Can be sloppy with his hands. Has potential as an OT. Looks solid in pass pro on the edge. Best bet is still OG. When he plays with good leverage, can get movement in the run game.

JC Davis – 6-4, 322 – Illinois – 2-yr starter at LT for ILL. Also 2-yr starter at LT for New Mexico. 49 career starts. Tough, physical blocker. Very good in the run game. Has good size and length. Smart, veteran blocker who uses his hands well. Doesn’t have great feet and will struggle against some speed rushers. Duke gave him fits. Got some reps at OG at the Senior Bowl and showed good potential. That could be his best fit, but also might be able to make it at OT

Anez Cooper – 6-6 , 334 – Miami – 3-year starter at RG. Big, powerful blocker. Able to get movement in the run game. Heavy hands. Can flatten guys at the second level. Doesn’t show much in the way of pulling, but moves okay when going downfield. Stout in pass pro. Has pretty good feet. Works hard to mirror rushers.

Febechi Nwaiwu – 6-4, 316 – Oklahoma – Plays RG. 45 career starts. Trf from North Texas. Thick build. Good feet. Anchors well. Quick off the ball. Played some center at the Shrine Game and looked good. Does a good job of mirroring rushers. Can be sloppy with his hands. Keldrick Faulk gave him some problems in the Auburn game. Works hard to sustain blocks. More grinder than athlete.

Joshua Braun – 6-6, 325 – Kentucky – Played in 62 career games (26 at Florida, 24 at Arkansas and 12 at Kentucky) with 43 career starts (7 at Florida, 24 at Arkansas and 12 at UK). Big, strong blocker. Needs to be better with his hands. Can be too grabby. Has pretty good feet. Will get knocked back at times because he’s too upright. With his size you would expect him to be a mauler. Not the case. Actually at his best on the move. Good athlete.

Evan Beernstein – 6-4, 301 – Northwestern – Was at South Dakota St from 2019-2024. Started a total of 48 games in his career. Age could be an issue. Plays like a bully. Wants to pound the guy across from him. Shows a real nasty streak. Quick off the ball. Good with his hands. Pulls well and has some real pop when he makes contact. Always looking for work. Good pass blocker. Played really well against Penn State. Kept their DTs under control. Not big or flashy, but the kind of grinder/mauler who can play in the league for a while.

Fernando Carmona – 6-5, 318 – Arkansas – LT for 2 yrs at SJSU. 2 yr starter at LG for Arkansas. Team captain. Has good feet. Good athlete. Big, strong blocker. Anchors well. Plays with a wide base. Pulls well. Blocks well on the move. Does a good job keeping his feet moving while engaged. Plays with good leverage. Does a good job of mirroring the rusher. You can see his LT background. Keeps his head on a swivel.

Micah Morris – 6-5, 334 – Georgia – 18 career starts. Big, thick build. Still quick off the ball. Powerful player with strong hands. Needs to work on using them better. Too grabby at times. Moves well for a guy his size. Anchors well. Good on short pulls. Plays with a wide base in pass pro. Has some athleticism, but is a bit stiff. Good Combine numbers. Too uright at times. Can get off balance. Good showing at the Shrine Game. Has experience at LG and RG.

DJ Campbell – 6-3, 313 – Texas – Started 43 games at RG. Has a thick build. Good on pulls. Good with his hands. Stout in pass pro. Plays with a wide base. Can be too upright at times. Smart player with a lot of experience. Keeps his feet active, allowing him to sustain blocks. Comes off the ball well on run plays. Good with positioning and angles. Shows a bit of a nasty streak.

Josh Gesky – 6-5, 321 – Illinois – Played LG. 34 career starts. Good size. Tested really well, but you don’t always see that athleticism on tape. Doesn’t stand out when he’s on the move or in space. Good pass blocker. Really latches on. Anchors well. Has some run blocks that are really impressive. Smart player. Handles stunts well.

Alex Harkey – 6-5, 313 – Oregon – Went from JC to Colorado to Texas State to Oregon. Former TE who moved to OT and started 26 games. Athletic OT with good movement skills. You can see his TE background. Good run blocker. Really battles. Works hard to sustain blocks. Keeps his feet active. Isn’t an ideal pass blocker. Has short arms. Struggles with speed rushers. David Bailey gave him fits. Couldn’t come close to handling that kind of speed. Does anchor well. Size and skill set mean he’s a better fit at OG. Almost 25 and that will hurt his value.

Carver Willis – 6-5, 303 – Washington – Played LT for UW. 2-yr starter at RT for Kansas before that. 6-year player with 28 career starts. 24 years old. Doesn’t have a good combination of size and athleticism. Physical blocker, especially in the run game. Comes off the ball quickly and aggressively. Doesn’t have a good kick slide. Footwork isn’t quick enough for speed rushers. Had a good showing at the Senior Bowl. I don’t think he has the length or footwork to be a good OT at the next level. His run blocking and physicality make him an interestng OG prospect.

***

CB

This group thins out in a hurry. The Eagles aren’t interested in nickelbacks. And they like CBs who run well.

Charles Demmings – Stephen F. Austin – 6-1, 193 – 26 career PBUs. 4 INTs in 2025. Started 12 games (18 tackles, 5 PBUs). Loves to press and be physical with receivers. Will hit. Physical at the catch point. Made some tough catches. Has good hands. Doesn’t have great hips. Does have the speed to turn and run with receivers. Plays with good awareness. Willing tackler. Went to the Senior Bowl and held his own. Small school prospect with NFL size and speed. Ran 4.41.

Devin Moore – 6-3, 198 – Florida – Only 17 career starts. In 2025 he tied for the team lead with 2 INTs. Started 11 games (35 tackles, 2 TFLs with 1 sack, 4 PBUs, FF).
Long, tall corner who excels in man coverage. Does a great job of mirroring receivers. Smooth mover with quick feet and fluid hips. Plays with good awareness. Didn’t run great at the Combine, but looks fast on tape. Willing tackler. While he’s big, is comfortable playing off. Injury issues could affect his value. Didn’t play more than 7 games until senior season.

Hezekiah Masses – Cal – 6-1, 179 – Has 42 career starts. Put up his best numbers as a senior. Tied for the FBS lead with 1.38 passes defensed per game, tied for seventh with 5 INTs. Tied for the team lead with 13 PBUs. Started all 13 games (47 tackles, TFL). Can press or play off. His experience shows. Smart player who plays with good awareness. Plays the ball well. Has good hands. Sticky in coverage. Solid tackler. Can play man or zone. Gets a good jam when he does press. More football player than athlete and that could limit him at the next level. Ran 4.46.

Andre Fuller – Toledo – 6-1, 200 – Fuller has solid size and runs pretty well (4.49). He was in college for 6 seasons and is 24 already, but that’s not as big a factor at his point in the draft. Fuller had 12 PDs and 1 INT as a senior, when he had a breakout season. Previously had played some safety. Tough, physical corner. Can maul receivers at the LOS. Rugged tackler. I prefer him in off coverage. Let him attack what’s in front of him. Plays with good awareness. Had a solid showing at the Shrine Game. Could be a core STs player at the next level as well as a solid CB. Ran 4.49.

Latrell McCutchin – Houston – 6-2, 191 – Led team with 10 PBUs. Started 13 games (51 tackles, 3 TFLs with 1 sack, FF, blocked kick). Good STer. Really good athlete. Doesn’t always show that in his play. At his best pressing and jamming receivers. Not as effective when playing off. Receivers get by him more than you would expect for a guy with his athleticism. Physical tackler. Ran 4.43.

***

DT

I think the Eagles would prefer an athletic DT to add to the mix.

Gracen Halton – 6-3, 293 – Oklahoma – TE in HS. Only 10 career starts. In 2024 he played in all 13 games with 3 starts (30 tackles, 6 TFLs with 5 sacks, 2 FFs). 2025: Played in all 13 games with 7 starts (33 tackles, 7 TFLs with 3.5 sacks, 2 PBUs, FF). Highly athletic DT who uses a quick get-off to disrupt offenses. Very good with hands. Hard to block. Excellent lateral agility. Can line up over the center and then rush up the B-gap. Good motor. Chases the ball relentlessly. Plays with good awareness. At his best in a 1-gap scheme where he can attack upfield all game.

Darrell Jackson – 6-6, 315 – Florida State – Excellent size and length. Stout run defender. Tough to move when he plays with good leverage and uses his long arms to keep blockers off his body. Has some very impressive snaps. Able to shed and get to the ball. Shows potential as a pass rusher. Flashes good agility and quickness at times. Totaled 7.5 sacks in his career. Had a very impressive showing at the Shrine Game. Was then a late invite to the Senior Bowl and also impressed there. Lots of potential.

Zane Durant – 6-1, 290 – Penn State – Athletic, productive DT. Finished his career with 22 TFLs and 10 sacks. Playmaking DT. Quick, disruptive. Will mix in bull rushes to keep blockers off balance. Good power. Ran very well at the Combine. Good in the bag drill. 1-gap DT who is meant to attack upfield. Very active player. Constant motion. Very quick off the ball. Excellent lateral agility. Goes right around blockers. Not the biggest or strongest, but has good power because he plays with good leverage. If OL are too upright, they will get knocked back. Good with his hands and arms.

Kaleb Proctor – 6-2, 291 – SE Louisiana – Highly disruptive 3-tech. Quick off the ball. Uses his hands well. Has excellent lateral agility. Had a great game vs LSU. Gave their OL fits. A whirling dervish. Explodes off the ball and creates chaos. Has a lean athletic build. Very good motor. Made a sensational play in space against a QB. Mirrored him and then chased him down. Looked more like a LB than a DT. Got better throughout college. Had 43 tackles, 13 TFLs and 9 sacks as a senior. Had a strong showing at the Shrine Game. Won’t appeal to every team, but he’s your guy if you want a disruptive interior rusher with playmaking ability.

Brandon Cleveland – 6-3, 307 – NC State – 27 career starts. Played in all 13 games with 12 starts (36 tackles, 7 TFLs with 2 sacks). Versatile DT. Strong enough to play NT and 2-gap, but also quick enough to shoot gaps and be disruptive. Plays with good leverage. Has a good motor. Will make pursuit plays. Does a good job of getting off blocks and to the ball. Technically sound. Seems to really understand how to use leverage to hold his ground.

Zxavian Harris – 6-8, 330 – Ole Miss – Massive DL. Just overwhelms some blockers with shear size and strength. Tough to block when he plays with good leverage. Able to shed blocks and make plays. Just engulfs runners on some plays. Lines up in a variety of spots. Had his best season in 2025, totaling 58 tackles, 3 sacks and 3 PDs. Has a pretty good motor. More agile than you would expect. Suffered a foot injury at the Combine. Pad level is too high at times, which you expect from a guy with his build. Can wear down. Was able to win in college due to size, quickness and strength. Must become more technically sound at the next level. \

Nick Barrett – 6-3, 312 – South Carolina – Only a 1-year starter. Started all 12 games (42 tackles, 6 TFLs with 2 sacks, PBU). Team captain. Plays NT and DT. Plays with good leverage. Uses his hands well. Will jack up blockers and get by them. Able to push the pocket. Has a good motor and makes his share of hustle plays. Ideal build for a NT. Good bulk with good enough length. Good 2-gapper. Engages blockers and holds the POA. Can then shed and go get the ball. Has the quickness to get upfield and be disruptive when allowed to. Good showing at the Senior Bowl.

Rayshaun Benny – 6-3, 298 – Michigan – Played on a deep DL so only started in 2025. Started all 13 games (35 tackles, 3 TFLs with 1.5 sacks, 2 PBUs). Not a NT. Versatile DL who can stack and shed. Has the agility and athleticism to attack upfield. Good with his hands and arms. Very good showing at the Senior Bowl. Feels like his best fit is as DT in a 1-gap system where he can attack more. Versatile enough that he can play in a 3-4.

Jordan van den Berg – Georgia Tech – 6-3, 310 – Trf from PSU. Former rugby player. Highly athletic DT. Very quick off the ball. Can burst upfield or go around the blocker with his lateral quickness. Tough to block. Ideal for 3T, but played a lot of 1T/0T in college. Stays low and is tough to move. Will take on double teams. Good motor. Plays with urgency. Makes his share of hustle plays. Played well in 2024, but really came into his own as a senior. Had 44 tackles, 11 TFLs and 3 sacks. 24 years old. Athletic enough to be disruptive, but also willing to do the dirty work.

Demonte Capehart – 6-5, 313 – Clemson – Athletic DT with good size and length. Does a good job of 2-gapping. Uses his length to keep blockers off him. Moves well down the LOS when pursuing the ball. Limited production for a player of his ability. Only had 71 career tackles and 4 sacks. Strong player who is good with his hands. Could end up being a better pro player than college player if he can be more consistent.

Cameron Ball – 6-4, 310 – Arkansas – 31 career starts. In 2024 he started all 13 games (47 tackles, 4 TFLs with 1.5 sacks). 2025: Started 11 games (27 tackles, 4.5 TFLs). A NT or 1-tech. Has good initial quickness. Can beat blockers and get upfield when he needs to. Can hold the POA as well. Good with his hands. Occasionally lined up as 5-tech and looked effective there. Good motor. Solid athlete. Had a good showing at the Senior Bowl. The kind of versatile DL who can fit multiple schemes.

James Thompson – 6-6, 308 – Illinois – Trf from Wisconsin. Has good combination of size and athleticism. Limited production as a senior. Had 41 tackles, but only 3 TFLs and 2 sacks. Didn’t get invited to Combine or Senior Bowl. Went to the Shrine Game and was outstanding. Gave blockers fits with his combination of size, strength and quickness. Looked natural at attacking upfield. His regular season tape isn’t as good. Wasn’t consistently disruptive. Got stuck on blocks more than you would like. Will be an interesting evaluation for teams. They will love his size and potential.

Bryson Eason – Tennessee – 6-2, 323 – 6-year player. 34 career starts. 20 TFLs. In 2025 he started all 13 games (31 tackles, 4.5 TFLs, 3 PBUs). Played mostly 1-tech. Quick off the ball. Good pass rusher. Good with his hands/arms. Explosive club move. Former LB. Wasn’t as productive or disruptive in 2025. Went to the Senior Bowl and looked quicker, more athletic. Already 24 years old. If you can get the guy from Mobile, you’ve got an interesting prospect.

Skyler Gill-Howard – 6-1, 280 – Texas Tech – Had a strong junior season at NIU. Team captain. Played in 12 games with 1 start (51 tackles, 8 TFLs with 5 sacks).Trf to TT for his senior season. Started the first 6 games (13 tackles, 2.5 TFLs with 0.5 sacks, INT-returned for TD, PBU). Missed the second half of the year with an ankle injury. Former LB and you can see that in the way he plays. Good motor. Will chase down plays from the backside. Quick, attacking DT who can really fire off the ball. Good club move. Takes advantage of small frame by playing with good leverage and being tough to block.

David Gusta – 6-2, 308 – Kentucky – Started all 12 games (12 tackles, 3 TFLs with 1 sack). 36 career starts. Played NT for UK, but was an upfield, aggressive player. Good athlete. Good agility. Does a good job of getting off blocks and being disruptive. Uses his hands and arms to beat blockers. Can push the pocket when he fires off the ball and gets into the pads of the OL. Could play 1T or 3T in a 4-3 scheme. Might be able to play in the 3-4, but 2-gapping isn’t his strength.

Landon Robinson – 5-11, 291 – Navy – Undersized DT, but a really good athlete. Disruptive force. Quick off the ball. Great lateral agility. Uses his hands well. Can be stout because of leverage and strength. At his best attacking upfield, but will take on blockers. Even double teams. Tougher to move than you would expect. Had 64 tackles, 8.5 TFLs and 6.5 sacks as a senior. 2-year starter. Will play on STs. Great motor. His athleticism and toughness will get him into the league. Could also be H-back or FB.

Tyre West – 6-2, 283 – Interesting prospect. Has tweener size and played on the edge for the Vols. Good athlete who did okay outside. Used both speed rushes and power rushes to keep OTs off balance. Will mix in an occasional spin move. Good motor. Will chase plays all over the field. Plays hard. Was a role player in college and would be a role player in the NFL. Would need to move inside. Could be good as an interior rusher.

Aaron Hall – 6-4, 297 – Duke – Oustanding athlete for his size. Can really move.Has a good motor. Struggled against Ga Tech. Their OL kept him bottled up. Generally productive. Versatile player who can be moved around. Very quick get off. Doesn’t always play as strong as you like because he fires upfield so quickly. Doesn’t consistently push the pocket. Relies on his burst to win. Has the size and tools to be a good 3-tech, but needs to work on block destruction. Needs to get stronger and play more physically.

Uar Bernard – 6-4, 306 – Prospect from the international development program. Hasn’t played football, but is a freak athlete. The Eagles were interested in him.

LB

The Eagles have shown interest in adding a LB. They seem to prefer an athlete with cover skills.

Jimmy Rolder – 6-3, 238 – Michigan – Tough, physical ILB. Able to stack and shed. Has some pop when he gets to the ball. Shows good speed in the open field. Really good tackler. Wraps up and makes sure the runner/receiver goes down. Shows a feel for coverage. Makes plays all over the field. Really hustles to the ball. Only a one-year starter, but made the most of it. 73 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 INT. Has the instincts and physicality to develop into a staring NFL LB.

Kaleb Elarms-Orr – 6-2, 234 – TCU – Highly productive in 2025. Had 130 tackles, 4 sacks and 2 PDs. Has a nose for the ball. Can be patient or fire upfield. Really good athlete and that shows up on tape. Covers a lot of ground. Good tackler. Looks solid in coverage. Will sometimes line up on the edge. Good blitzer from there. At his best when DL keep him clean and he can get to the ball. Good instincts.

Keyshaun Elliot – Arizona State – 6-2, 231 – Led team with 14 TFLs, 7 sacks. Started 12 games (98 tackles, 2 PBUs). Big time playmaker as a senior. Wears the green dot. Tends to take on blockers with his shoulder. Will need to use his hands better at the next level. Good in the box. Good athlete. Takes good angles to the ball. Wrap up tackler. Aggressive, but plays under control. Tough enough to play in traffic, athletic enough to play in space. Could be a starting LB at the next level.

Harold Perkins – LSU – 6-1, 223 – Former edge rusher moved to LB. Looked dynamic as a freshman, but doesn’t have the size for edge rusher at the next level. Small frame, short arms. Developed into a good LB. Did have 13 sacks and 6 FFs in those first two seasons. Gifted athlete who flies around the field. Really good in pursuit. Very good COD ability. Tackling can be sloppy. Hits more than he wraps up. Loves to shoot gaps and attack up the field. Disruptive player. I don’t know that he’s got the size or instincts to be a starting LB in the NFL, but his speed and playmaking ability could make him a valuable role player and STer.

Justin Jefferson – 6-0, 223 – Alabama – Undersized LB who plays bigger than he is. Will take on blockers, shed and go get the ball. Physical player. Has some real pop when he hits. Good athlete who makes plays all over the field. Strong tackler. Had 79 tackles, 3 sacks, 5 PDs and 1 FF in 2025. Not the most instinctive player, but trusts his eyes and is decisive. His size will be an issue at the next level, but his toughness and athleticism make him intriguing.

James Boettcher – 6-1, 233 – Oregon – Former baseball player who developed into a good LB. Played his best football in 2025, totaling 136 tackles, 2 FF, 1 sack, 1 INT and 5 PDs. Good athlete. Plays better in space than in traffic. Good tackler. Very good in coverage, in season and at the Senior Bowl. Shows a feel for how to cover and has the athleticism to do it. Gets stuck on blocks at times. Could be a good role player and STer. Might develop into a starting LB.

Namdi Obiazor – 6-3, 229 – TCU – Athletic LB who started for 3 years. Piled up 302 tackles, 8.5 sacks and 3 INTs. Former safety who grew into being a LB. Speed shows up on tape. Flies to the ball. Good tackler. Wraps up and puts guys down. Good closing speed. Plays under control and trusts his eyes. Had a good showing at the Senior Bowl.

Jackson Kuwatch – 6-4, 232 – Miami (O.) – Trf from Ohio State. Very combination of size and athleticism. Had 109 tackles, 10 TFLs and 5 sacks in 2025. Lines up as an edge rusher on some passing downs. Needs to improve his ability to shed blocks. Had a good showing at the Shrine Game, especially in coverage.

Kendal Daniels – 6-5, 242 – Oklahoma – Has played both S and LB. Started all 13 games at S/LB hybrid position (53 tackles, 9 TFLs, 3 PBUs). Unique prospect. Has the build of a SAM, but has a SAF background. Good player in space. Excellent agility. Looks good in coverage. Has good closing speed. Tackling is a bit inconsistent, but mostly good. At his best when he’s clean and can go attack the ball. Can line up in the slot or out wide over TEs. Could be a good tool for a creative coach.

Karson Sharar – 6-2, 231 – Iowa – Backup until his senior season. Led team with 83 tackles, 12 TFL. Started all 13 games (4 sacks, PBU, FF). Smart, instinctive player. Trusts his eyes. Sees it and goes and gets it. Plays fast. Wrap up tackler. Good closing speed. At his best when kept clean so he can attack. Will take on blockers, but isn’t great at shedding. Good athlete. Looks solid in coverage. Good blitzer. Needs to get stronger. Could develop into starting LB. If not can be a good role player and valuable STer. Plays fast and tackles well.

Scooby Williams – 6-2, 231 – Texas A&M – Played in 7 games with 3 starts (19 tackles, 4 TFLs with 1 sack, INT, FF). Missed several games due to injury. Had 20 career starts coming into 2025. Athletic LB. Has good pop when he hits. Plays fast. Looks good in coverage. Isn’t a great run defender. Will get stuck on blocks. Not as comfortable playing in traffic. Better when he can use his athleticism in space.

QB

With 3 QBs already in place, this would likely be a late pick or priority UDFA. Still, you never know. The Eagles do covet QB depth.

Cade Klubnik – 6-2, 207 – 3-year starter who put up huge numbers in 2024 and then had a down senior season. Ran well at his Pro Day. Had a 55-yard TD run vs NCSU in 2024 so that athleticism shows up n games. Too casual with his play fakes. Can throw on the move. Good accuracy on his deep balls. Puts good touch on them as well. Very catchable. Makes some really impressive throws. Offense had him making a lot of quick reads. Got the ball out quicky and on target. Accurate passer. Receivers get the ball on the move and are able to add YAC. Good arm. Handles pressure pretty well. Footwork can be sloppy at times. Klubinik has the physical tools, skills and experience to become a starting QB in the NFL.

Cole Payton – 6-3, 232 – One-year starter with outstanding mobility. Ran for 777 yards and 13 TDs in 2025. Left-handed passer. Good accuracy on downfield throws. Throws well on the move. Good arm. Played in a run heavy offense. Only threw 225 passes as a senior, only 283 for his career. Good athlete. Payton is a project because he hasn’t been in an offense focused on the passing game and he lacks ideal experience. Has the size, athleticism and tools to develop into an NFL QB.

Haynes King – 6-3, 212 – Played 3 years at Texas A&M and then 3 more at GT. Good runner who developed into a solid passer at the college level. Tough as nails. Ran for 953 yards and 15 TDs as a senior. Took a pounding. Good athlete. Solid arm. Erratic pocket passer. Has some plays where he looks like a quality veteran QB. Other times he looks like an athlete trying to get the job done. Lots of short, quick throws. Had some success on deep balls. Puts a lot of arc on them. Could be a good backup QB at the next level. Teams will value his athleticism, toughness and leadership. Must become a more consistent passer.

Luke Altmyer – 6-2, 210 – Illinois – 3-year starter who got better each season. Solid mechanics. Isn’t special physically, but good enough to get the job done. Effective runner. Played in a pro style system. Has experience under center. Good on slants and in-breaking routes. Arm is solid. Accurate passer. Had a good showing at the Senior Bowl. Isn’t special in any way, but has the skills and experience to become a good backup at the next level.

Jalon Daniels – 6-1, 219 – Spent 6 years at KU. Threw for 9,282 yards and 67 TDs. Ran for 1,451 yards and 23 TDs. Athletic, playmaking QB. Thrived in KU’s creative offense. Strong arm. Can really drive the ball downfield. Throws well on the move. Very elusive in the pocket. Erratic with accuracy. Stats back that up…only completed 62 percent of his passes. Big issue on accuracy is sloppy footwork and mechanics. When he’s sound, the ball is on target. Dangerous as a runner. Fast and elusive. Had a good showing at the Shrine Game. You wish a player with his level of experience was a more consistent passer. Could develop into an effective backup in the NFL.

Sawyer Robertson – 6-4, 216 – Baylor – 2-year starter. Puts good touch on his throws. Good pocket presence. Solid size. Good athlete. Good at working the middle of the field. Less effective throwing outside. Doesn’t have a great arm. Not a runner. Only completed 60.5 percent of his passes, which is bad for college. Accuracy is good on short throws from the pocket. Less so when on the move or throwing down the field. Has a smooth, easy motion. There are times when he looks like an NFL QB. The big challenge will be him adjusting to a pro system.

Joe Fagnano – 6-3, 226 – UConn – Spent 7 years in college, 4 at Maine, 3 at UConn. Had a great season in 2025. Threw 28 TDs with only 1 INT. Offense featured a lot of quick throws with a focus on RAC yards. He was good on those, especially to Skyler Bell. Arm is only so-so. Does have good size. Accurate passer. Isn’t special in any way. Age isn’t ideal. Late round player.

Mark Gronowski – 6-2, 226 – Iowa – 6-year college player and almost 25. Has 68 career starts. Was at South Dakota State until last season. Very good runner. Less so as a passer. Really struggled early in 2025, but got better as the season went along. Tough guy and good leader. Has a solid arm. Iowa’s offense has been dysfunctional for a while so it is hard to know how much was the system and how much was Gronowski. Went to the Shrine Game and showed real potential. Could be worth developing because of mobility and toughness.
