2023 Draft – Day 3 Preview

The Eagles had a good couple of days to start the draft. They added talented, athletic players that fit their schemes. All four guys were big time players from big time schools. No surprises. No sleepers. Good solid picks.

Day 3 is a different story. This is where scouts earn their money. The Eagles have four picks left.

The Eagles do not have a pick in the 4th or 5th round. They could trade a player or future assets if they want a pick. This isn’t likely, but there are some really interesting players still available.

7th – DT Desjuan Johnson – Toledo – 6-2, 285 …. disruptive inside rusher with a great motor
7th – OT Jake Witt – Northern Michigan – 6-7, 302 …. athletic project with great upside
7th – CB Starling Thomas – UAB – 5-10, 190 …. explosive speed…can play off and make plays
