Please don’t let the headline scare you. I’m not going to start covering the Cowboys or the WNBA. I won’t be writing in Gaelic. What will happen is a much needed update for Iggles Blitz.

This site was designed almost 15 years ago. A lot has happened since then so it is time for some work. It would help to get some input from you on a few things.

I am working closely with someone on the re-design and we are considering several things. People have told me there are too many ads on the site these days. I want to make the site more user-friendly so we are thinking about this. One suggestion was to go behind a paywall and get rid of the ads entirely. I’m hesitant to do that because I like the site being available to everyone. Please let me know your thoughts on the ads as well as the paywall idea.

More people are using phones to read these days. I’m excited to say IB will finally get a mobile friendly version.

Are there specific features you are looking for?

The logo with players will be going away. It helps the site when viewed on multiple platforms. I also feel like I will jinx whoever I choose. If I put Jalen Carter up there, Chip Kelly would find a way to trade him away. If anyone is good with logo design and wants to submit something, please do.

The current site will be functioning while we work on the new version. I will let you know if there will be a temporary outage here and there. We are hoping for a fairly seamless transition. The new site should be live by the end of August.
