The Buffalo Bills are doing something really cool with their team website.  They have their version of Dave Spadaro (Chris Brown) sitting down with assistant coaches and reviewing tape of the top 10 individual performances of the year. Here’s the link.  I’d absolutely love to see the Eagles do this, but don’t know if Big Red would allow it.  He’s a tad on the secretive side, as you may have noticed.

So what would be the 10 performances you’d want to see reviewed?  I’ll leave DJax, Vick, and Shady for you guys.  Here are a few that I’d like to see:

Antonio Dixon vs TEN — Dixon had 6 tackles, a sack, and knocked down a couple of passes.  He was dominant at times.  We didn’t see this level of play every week, but it did show just how much potential this young man has.

Jason Peters vs DAL — I’m referring to the win, of course.  Peters played well in the overall game, but was dominant down the stretch.  You may recall that we got the ball late and marched down the field and ate up the clock.  Peters brought his A-game and destroyed the Cowboys.  He didn’t win every battle in the game, but came up big at winning time.

Trevor Laws vs JAX — Who remembers this game?  Trevor was still a mystery back in Week 3.  He was okay the first couple of weeks, but this was his coming out party.  He had 6 tackles, 2 sacks, and a TFL.  Actually was robbed of a 3rd sack.  Garrard tossed the ball to his RB while on the way down.  Replays showed the knee was down when David still had the ball.  There was no reason to challenge since the play failed anyway.  I’m sure Trevor would tell you Big Red should have thrown the flag.  How often do DTs have 3-sack games?

So what would you guys want to see?

One game that might make my list is Dimitri Patterson vs the Colts.  Remember the job he did on Reggie Wayne?  How did things go from that to the Giants debacle?

    I’d really like to see a break down of any of Jamar Chaneys performances, in particular the giants game.

    I’d also like to know how the hell Patterson went from dominant to benched in such a short time.

    Aside from that, miracle at the new meadowlands: Fokou was damn near dominant at the start of that game. I’d like to see those plays broken down.

    Jamar Chaney looked real good. I’ll take a break down of all his plays at Mike.

    I’ll need to go back and re-read some notes on Fokou. He had a couple of real good showings.

    I feel like the whole team brought a little bit extra when we played Peyton. I get the feeling everyone wanted a piece of taking down the legend.

    I’d have to be lazy and pick an easy one: Vick vs. Washington.

    That was such a bloodbath. I was at the game in D.C. and remember our offense having it so easy that even I was predicting who and where the ball would go pre-snap… from the stands.

    Adding insult to injury, that game was played the same night Donovan’s psuedo-extension was leaked to the media. The Redskins crowd were a little full of themselves before kick-off, giving us Eagles fans crap about how dumb we were to trade McNabb within the division, etc. By the end of the 1st quarter, there weren’t many Redskins fans left at FedEx Field.

    I’m actually saving the ticket stub to that game, despite the ugly photo of Andre Carter on it.

    So yeah, I’d love to watch this game with Andy Reid. The game Vick shed all doubt that he was “back” and better than ever.

    Tommy. I don’t remember any stats or anything from that game (who could think about stats by the end of that game anyway?), but I remember seeing Fokou making plays at or behind the line of scrimmage for most of that first qtr. By the end of the first half, it was hard to remember that our defense was dominant for most of the first qtr. I think it was mostly Fokou making the plays and I would guess the giants found some way to slow him down.

    i was real excited about him coming in. he didnt get a lot of sacks but he had a lot of qb disruptions. he always seemed be just a step late and the qb would get rid of the ball right before graham would hit him.

    a lot of people r down on him but i am pretty excited aboyt him.

    trevor laws is another one. he had some good performances. if u watch the miracle at the meadolands he split a double team to get to eli on 3rd down to force the punt that desean took to the house

    BG had a monster game against the colts. He was always inches away from a sack, and was a big reason we were able to contain the Colts O. God it was awesome to beat them.

    Ill have few players i would like to see:

    Jeremy Maclin – Maybe against the Falcons or Giants(Home)
    Brent Celek – Did he really block that much?
    Winston Justice – How good was he?
    LeSean McCoy – Week 2 @ Lions

    How about Kolb vs ATL? That’s a defense that allowed an average of 18 points per game this season and only lost 3 games and Kolb went out and put 31 points on the board.

    yeah that indy game was awesome. it started off with mccoy taking it like 60 yards. the refs made that game a little closer than it should have been.

    It sounds to me as if someone should see if Derek misses blogging yet. See if he wants to spend a few late nights after the kids go to bed guest authoring a season rewind.

    Ditto Dragon_Eagle. It would be an interesting combo of how they schemed to protect him and how he managed to win his battles when needed.
