Mystery Move

The Eagles announced a move on Tuesday. I’ve got to be honest, this didn’t make much sense to me.

Punter Donnie Jones has announced his retirement from the NFL after 14 seasons.

Punter? I’m not familiar with that term.

Donnie Jones? Name is vaguely familiar, but I can’t place it.

Frankly, I don’t know why the Eagles made a big deal out of this guy retiring.

Shouldn’t be hard at all to replace him.

My best guess is that he just made up this “punter” position, you know like when Pam made herself the office administrator on The Office. He convinced some people it was real and then laughed all the way to the bank.

Lane Johnson talked about winning and having fun, unlike the Patriots. Bruschi shot him down, over and over. Now it seems that there might have been some legitimacy to Johnson’s criticism of the Patriots.

Will Bruschi do the right thing…either apologize to Johnson or go on every single ESPN show and rip Gronk. I doubt we’ll get either.
