Fletcher Cox is active. He’s not 100 percent healthy, but he wasn’t about to sit this game out. He wants to be on the field, doing his part to beat the Niners. If he struggles, the Eagles will be okay. Milton Williams is back today and rookie Moro Ojomo is active. The Eagles will have at least 5 DTs so they can rotate guys and avoid getting worn down. Let’s hope Cox is good to go. You want him in a game like this.

Goedert wanted to play, but the Eagles are trying to be smart. Don’t rush him back for one week when you still have big goals to accomplish. You want Goedert available for the next two months. Let that arm heal a bit more.

He wants his players to use all the Niners trash talk as motivation.

“Take it personally.”

We’ll see if this approach works. The Eagles will be fired up and emotional. That will only work if they execute well. Emotion without execution will fade quickly.

I am excited for this game. We’ll find out more about both teams. And this is what you want…the best teams playing each other.
