Game Thread – 2nd half of PHI at BUF

Ugh.

Bills lead 21-7.   Eagles are playing super sloppy once again.  Mistakes kill every good thing we do or break that goes our way.

I don’t know what the hell to expect out of the 2nd half.

Saved by the refs. Let’s not forget that decision, however.

Fire Andy and his entourage. Such a poorly coached team from top to bottom.

    Suck for Luck!

    Or maybe Suck for RGIII?

Of course, unless Andy Reid & his minions are excised from the Eagles organization, they’ll end up picking a 5’11” 240lb DE with a top 5 pick instead.

  6. 6 Jon Blank said at 6:51 PM on October 9th, 2011:

Sooo, we don’t trust the rookie kicker with a 40 yard field goal, but we’ll run the obvious onsides kick to start the half.

If Andy Reid and every one of his minions isn’t purged from the Novacare Complex before the 2012 season, all hope will be lost for the future.

This regime has run its course. It is officially time for someone new. (and not a retread such as Cowher, either)

Have the Bills thrown long once today? Or all year? Maybe cover the short routes on 3rd and 4? Just a thought…

  13. 13 Anonymous said at 6:55 PM on October 9th, 2011:

They threw deep once on Asante. INCL. They are throwing short quite a bit.

    Tommy:

    You may have seen it.

During Fox half-time show, Jimmy Johnson dropped the hammer on Reid —

He said the “O-line coach is coaching the defense and not doing a good job of it.”

That’s one very successful head coach politely saying, “Reid’s made a huge mistake.”

  31. 31 Anonymous said at 7:01 PM on October 9th, 2011:

Hyperbole aside, there has to be a shake-up of some sort after this disaster, right? Unless they really don’t want to win… which might become a good strategy after this loss.

  33. 33 Zachary said at 7:02 PM on October 9th, 2011:

    Tommy,

We still can’t fire Juan? I mean has “his” defense held a single offense to a FG in the red zone? I know McDemort was all time bad, but Juan’s been worse. The Eagles, running joke of the NFL.

  37. 37 Anonymous said at 7:03 PM on October 9th, 2011:

I’m sorry Tommy, but I have seen enough to know that Castillo is incompetent. The one thong he preaches, fundamentals, are awful on this defense. He has no idea what he is doing. On top of that, AR needs to be held accountable for the decision to use Castillo as a DC.

  44. 44 Virgile - Bubqr said at 7:06 PM on October 9th, 2011:

Did we just defend a Wildcat formation, in the Redzone, WITH A NICKEL FORMATION AND ONLY 3 DEFENSIVE LINEMEN ?

  96. 96 Anonymous said at 7:32 PM on October 9th, 2011:

A shark also has a remarkable sensitivity to vibrations in the water. It can feel the movements made by other animals that are hundreds of feet away. They can hear sounds from thousands of feet away. Sharks can tell the direction from where the sound is coming from, too.

Tackling, anyone? I thought Juan was good at teaching? I hope Reid starts holding him accountable for the defense.

If it’s any consolation (it isn’t) the Giants just lost their game on a very similar interception, while in the Red Zone. Except their mistake when for a pick six.

    What Parker did was ridiculous.

Cut him — the way Reid cut Bill Johnson in 1999.
