So, summary from the offseason:
1. McCoy for Kiko – Kiko may be out for the season (saw it reported, but wasn’t familiar with the writer so no idea if that’s a legitimate report).
2. Foles and a second round pick for Bradford – Foles lacks the arm. Unfortunately, Bradford is unwilling to use his.
3. Evan Mathis for ? – It’s great that we didn’t go after a OLineman in the draft and that we had so much faith in Barbre and Gardner… oh wait… not so much.
4. Maxwell – This was argued as such an inevitable move that had to be made. I never understood that. So far, he has been no better than Fletcher or Williams, but unfortunately, he is being paid A LOT more than either of them.
5. Murray/Ryans – It’s great to spend that much money on RBs when you ignore the Oline and they end up being nonfactors.
Other issue is the money they paid to Murray and Maxwell is going to linger too.
We’ll see how it pans out but Kelly is going to have some serious egg on his face about investing so much in his RBs vs rest of the roster.

Brother I’ve been one of the most optimistic fans they come but after this game we can’t validate Bradford for having 2 good quarters out of 8. He really might be what he was in St Louis and that is a below average qb. I hope beyond hope that I’m wrong about that but it doesn’t look like I will be wrong. The offensive line is absolutely horrendous and yes that includes the “big 3” of Peters, Kelce, and Johnson. The blame can’t go directly to the guards because the line as a whole has been horrible. RBs have no chance to make plays. Play calling has been horrendous. Maxwell is Nnamdi 2.0. The pass rush is non existent. Need I go on? This team is flawed and that’s the truth I finally give in.

Mathis is a ton stronger than Barbre that’s obvious, much more stout and thick. Chip’s offense looks downright silly right now. Only plays they’ve gotten off is desperation plays vs prevent defenses in basically garbage time. If this season tanks, I think Chip stays and drafts a qb. Jared Goff if he declares, which I think he will. We are not ready. Our defense looked silly at times. Terrance Williams beat us easily at times. Terrance Williams. It’s still early. But we’re giving guys free release and plenty of space to run. Wtf?!?! I’m so mad. This can’t be real after Julio last week.

Only reason Maxwell wasn’t as bad today was because they didn’t target him quite as much.
Not exaggerating, but 30 years of watching football and rarely have i seen a player just run a pretty standard route into the endzone so easily,- forget about not being touched, dont think maxwell got within five yards, and there was zero trickery or deception or other players interfering with it. Maxwell did not trip or slip, or take the wrong turn. Just seemed to not put any effort at all into it.

We can’t validate Bradford for having 2 good quarters out of 8. He really might be what he was in St Louis and that is a below average qb. I hope beyond hope that I’m wrong about that but it doesn’t look like I will be wrong. The offensive line is absolutely horrendous and yes that includes the “big 3” of Peters, Kelce, and Johnson. The blame can’t go directly to the guards because the line as a whole has been horrible. RBs have no chance to make plays. Play calling has been horrendous. Maxwell is Nnamdi 2.0. The pass rush is non existent. Need I go on? This team is flawed and that’s the truth I finally give in.

I’ll trade Jordan and Sproles from my fantasy league now since they are hopefully shut down for the year. Lets hold all the talk about Bradford being the issue. All QBs make bad throws during games, but he didn’t have much to work with today. Neither did the running backs. The OL cost us the game today. They were terrible.
There’s not a QB in the league that would have done better in his position. All QBs under pressure are going to make some bad throws. But he had far less today than any of our previous QBs. Matter of fact, lets talk about the drops that killed drives. When the receivers drop balls on 3rd down, that ends the drive.
Bradford is by no means the issue with this team. Neither is Murray or any of the RBs. We got beat up front today and that’s the reason we lost this game.
Say that if the Eagles had a good QB today they might pull this game out even if it was ugly.
Bradford struggled in the 1st half a bit but he was plagued by a few drops too. He flat out stunk in the 2nd half with a couple of huge miscues that killed whatever chances they had.
think they planned for man, and had wrong schemes for zone.
All those beach volleyball games the WRs played are having s terrible effect as well.
Ertz let a ball go through his hands for an INT. Cooper dropped a 3rd down. Matthews dropped a 3rd down. All of these were in the 2nd half. Bradford also had a rush coming in, I can’t blame him or say he sucks when the line in front of him let him down.
so now my 8 year old is balling. he loves the eagles and gets worked up for the cowboys game. he watches and goes off and comes back when i call him that the eagles are doing something good. So he watches first quarter and goes to the next room. I never had any reason to call him in to watch something good from the eagles. he just came in and is crying because they lost and he missed the game.

But it seems like other teams will get injuries on the line, get a rookie center or a scrub guard and make it serviceable, not historically bad.
