DET 20, PHI 10 – Halftime

The Eagles scored first. They put up 10 points in the first quarter. They gained 228 yards in the first half.

But they trail by 10 at the break because of big mistakes. They allowed a 100-yard KO return for a TD.

Miles Sanders fumbled twice, losing one of them.

Nelson Agholor dropped a pass on third down that ended one drive. Later he fumbled after making a short catch and that led to a Lions FG.

Ugh.

If the Eagles can clean up the mistakes, they can win this game. If they continue to be sloppy, they are going to blow a good chance to get to 2-1.

It would also help if players would quit getting hurt. Both LTs left the game. Jason Peters might come back. It doesn’t sound like Andre Dillard will. Peters is sick. Dillard is dealing with a knee injury. And Derek Barnett has an ankle injury.

Like I said, ugh.
