Game Night – DAL at PHI

Staubach vs Jaworski. Aikman vs Cunningham. Romo vs McNabb.

DiNucci vs Wentz.

One of the NFL’s great rivalries has had some memorable QB battles. We’ll have to wait and see how this goes down.

One thing we do know, Carson Wentz will be missing his RT.

Nothing else is a surprise. Jordan Mailata will slide over to RT, making the return of Jason Peters to LT more sensible. Another week, another OL combo. This group won’t lack size, with four of the starters going 330 pounds or more.

DiNucci will have four backups blocking for him. I’m curious to see if Jim Schwartz lets his DL do the attacking or if he mixes in blitzes. Fran Duffy made a point that Schwartz blitzed aggressively vs the Jets last year when they had a young QB starting. The big difference is that the Jets had limited weapons. That’s not the case with Dallas. They do have playmakers.

This would be a great week for the Eagles to come up with turnovers. Build a lead and get the Cowboys on their heels. They just might start thinking “Here we go again.”

Nate Gerry is out. That means more snaps for Alex Singleton and T.J. Edwards. They’ll have a major challenge in trying to contain Zeke Elliott. Zeke is 5-1 vs the Eagles and has had a lot of success. Shut down Zeke and make DiNucci beat  you.

Really interested to see what the Eagles offense does. If they can block well, Carson and the skill players have a real chance to make plays. This would be a great time to score 30 points for the first time in 2020.

Go win this game.

Go Eagles!
