Day 3 – Eagles Draft Preview

The Eagles added a trio of talented, athletic defenders in the first two days. The secondary is in much better shape with Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean. Jalyx Hunt gives the team a pass rusher for the future. Beyond adding players, Howie Roseman was able to add picks. The Eagles have three picks in both the fourth and fifth rounds.

Day 3 is about depth. If you find Todd Herremans, Trent Cole or Josh Sweat, that’s great. You love finding starters at this point. But there is value in finding the next Jack Driscoll, Kenny Gainwell or Ike Reese. The Eagles starting lineup is fairly set. They do need depth and competition.

There are good players left at both WR and RB. They could address both spots.

LB is still a need. I’d be fine if the Eagles spent a couple of picks at that position.

I think DL needs depth. There aren’t great options, though.
