Gameday – Now or Never

The Super Bowl isn’t supposed to be the day after Christmas, but that’s how this game feels. The thought of losing the division to Kirk Cousins, DeSean Jackson and Dan Snyder is too much to deal with. The Eagles must win this game. I know this is a highly frustrating team, but I want them to win and move one step closer to the NFC East title. That would take a bit of sting out of a down season.

We know the inactives for tonight.

E.J. Biggers and Eric Rowe are your starting corners.

This is a game the Eagles are going to win or lose on offense. If they score 17 points, we’re in for a long night (and offseason). If Sam Bradford and his Band of Brothers can score some points, the defense just has to make enough plays to win.

And I still think the Eagles need to win the kicking game. That doesn’t mean they need a TD, but they need to come away with the advantage.

I still don’t have a strong feeling on this game. The Eagles are just too unpredictable this year for me to feel confident in them. At the same time, we’re talking about Kirk Cousins in a road game.

Nothing will surprise me tonight, except for a 13-10 defensive struggle.

Let’s hope the Eagles give us a belated Christmas gift in the form of a win.

    This team has such a large laundry list of issues that need to be addressed this off season. The unfortunate part is that due to poor personal and CAP choices it will be near impossible to even attempt to rectify half of them. Cox and Bradford contracts make it more difficult. We really need to have an amazing draft next year and have Agholor progress if we want this team to be competitive next year and beyond.
